I've only just started

With her being black, she would be so easy to spot amongst your lot and she would be another moggie freind for Harry to cuddle up to. Ginger and black go nice together. See pic of my late Smudge with her ginger friend Thomas who used to pop in now and again to see him.

good valid point there

Cant understand where the 'returners' are coming from? You get out what you put in

.....on the other side if you overwhelm her and constantly in their face, shes going to feel unsettled and become withdrawn. People forget that unlike dogs, cats dont need/pine constant attention or fussing.
Clearly Shadow is fine figure of cat and the fault lies with the humans

I like 1 and 3, Gillian. She looks all too playful in 2 and a bit

Definitely sounds like the home wasn't right for her.

I don't think it matters which pic you use because she looks gorgeous in all of them. My favourite is the bottom one where she has her head on upside down but I'd probably stick with the sitting up one for the web site.

So sad for her that she's lost out on a home because she didn't tick all their boxes

Sounds like it wasn't the right home for her anyway as the cat they describe sounds a pretty unhappy one. Fingers crossed she won't be waiting long for her forever home

She already has Rosella, almost as soon as she'd got in the cattery pen, she's a happy little cat here, but we were told she was withdrawn in her new home. She is certainly far from withdrawn and is acting completely normally. I can't equate the description they gave us with this normal, playful little cat I have here.

Shadow's been here about 10 days now. She's another return sadly

, she was originally with another fosterer and was rehomed in October, but has been returned basically because she didnt live up to expectations

Apparently she was getting more and more withdrawn, wouldnt interact, wouldnt play and wouldnt go outside. We were told that she was a cat with more problems than they could deal with

Little Shadow is an adorable, cheeky little cat, who stands up on her back legs to give a gentle headbut, then flops over to have her tummy tickled

She plays madly with a feather toy and is nothing like the description we've been given (nor was she like that when she went out to her new home

) So what happened in between to make her so withdrawn then?
