Many many thanks to those that organised it, those who took part and also the all important sponsors who gifted items for the auction!

Only this morning we took in a 7 week old kitten dumped on a doorstep!

He has taken all day to warm up!

It is little ones like that poor kitten taken from his Mum possibly a couple of weeks ago, and now unwanted and dumped on a doorstep until one of our fosterers stepped in and alerted me. She didn't feel confident enough to look after him, so he has been moved on a heat pad to a much more experienced lady. It is good that she let us know that she felt nervous about the responsibility of caring for such a vulnerable kitten.

I think it's really great this year that so many first timers to the Auction have had so much fun.

It's a brilliant way to help the rescues and the cats and for us to have fun too.

So pleased everyone had a good time on the auction. It is a lot of work getting it all organised but I think I can speak on behalf of the "team" when I say that when we see how much fun everyone has and how much money is raised it makes it all worthwhile.

Doesn't matter how much you spend or don't spend - £1 or £10, every little helps.

Makes me laugh on the TV when people loose and say they've had a nice day and it was the taking part that mattered - I've always thought "Yer, right!!" BUT I really believe it of the Purrs Auction. It is so much fun.

I always get money from my mum for Christmas so I just spend it on here, so I got 2 items for her this year as it's her birthday in January.
