Just realised I have 2 threads going on here and they are/will overlap so really no point...

SORRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to be a pain but could this one be merged with this one?

http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,39491.0.html

Thanks a million and sorry for the trouble - first splitting and now merging....

If I find a lovely home for the last one by Saturday - will think about it.

Past Saturday will be too late as love him to bits already ;)

REALLY can not afford 4 cats but if no perfect home is found for him.. he is staying put here

Glad Lucy and the babies all went off to their new homes OK  :) I know it's not ideal financially as four cats and a dog are very expensive to 'run' but I'm so pleased you're keeping one of the babies - a permanent reminder and testament to you and your daughters love and care

With a title like Lucy and her babies in their new homes..... Thanks a million :)

No problem all sorted, split from post 124 (to make sense)  :)

Lovely photos  :Luv2:

Can you post any further updates in Cat's Stories please, that would be great   ;D as this thread will soon be locked, I used to lock them straight away but occasionally some people like to make a comment, although updates should be in Cat's Stories so they can continue if need be.   I was going to split the thread but may be easier just to start a new thread now  :thanks:

Oh yes, Teddy - let him out for a bit, went to look for him an hour later, calling him for like ages only to be told by my neighbour - oh, he is here, been inside all the time...and handing him over to me through the bathroom window - very grumpy Teddy too.. sigh...

Teddy want a house where people are in most day, especially a MAN (Teddy is a man's cat) and some kids over 8 to play with him, little girl the best...

Teddy wants to be the only cat in a house with garden where he can go in and out as he pleases... :(

He has NEVE come onto my laps but I hear he goes on the neighbour's husband's laps all by himself  :'(

Thanks... Poor Jennifer - Lucy will definitely give her some grief over the next few days - new place, having had the op, babies gone....

But she should settle in quick aith all the care and fuss....

Sheila - you have seen how skinny Lucy is, all bones and skin.. Jennifer bought tonnes of food for her but is of course worried about feeding her too much too soon after the op....

I have just emailed her a link to here...

The three females I've owned have all been fine after their speys, none arrived home with collars and none picked at their stitches. Maybe I was lucky?  :-:

Gill's right about the big appetite thing, one of my boys came back from his dental recently and ate two bowls without stopping for breath!

It sounds like Lucy has been stitched and glued so shouldnt need a lampshade  ;D

But the owner needs to keep an eye on the wounds just in case.

Feed her when she needs cos seems to be something that they are putting in the anesthetic and Lupin was so bad I even rang the night vet LOL

It lasts about 12 to 24 hours.

Hope Zara settles with just one baby now

Thanks a lot again Sheila :)

Glad you had nice anniversary despite all...

Little one is trying to kill Zara at the moment, all 500gram of a cat against 35kg of a dog - fun to watch.

Zara was all over the place today poor thing, all babies here and then being taken away she was not happy at all... but all much calmer now.

Apparentlyt Lucy was handed to Jennifer without a lampshade collar on following her spay - they only told Jennifer to keep Lucy in for a "couple of days" - I do not quite understand, never head a cat after spay/neutering without a collar? Stirches are dissolvable but she can still pull them out, can't she?

Jennifer said Lucy wants to eat the whole house down poor thing.....

Little one is exploring the whole room all by himself now, he had a lot of dry food, not that keen on puches though - had a drink few times too, did not go to toilet though.. will check behind the telly later LOL

You are most welcome Anna, Jo was delighted with the little guy who sat peacefully in the back seat all the way to the train station. It was a privilege to be involved with such a wonderful family.

I got home to find OH has bought me a lovely rose bush for our anniversary - he'd not forgotten after all (although I spent the rest of the afternoon planting it). Just been out for our anniversary dinner, perfect.  :Luv:

Felt very happy tonight, not least because you've had such a great result with this little lot.  :)

Well done, Anna, and do keep in touch with updates.

(I'll drop that thing we talked about off at the week-end)

xx Sheila
