Thank you all for the warm welcome.  I have been a member of other cat forums in the past both dutch and english.  Found loads of advice helpful, but not friendly as this forum is.  Thanks again. ;)

Welcome to Purrs!

I love older cats - not that I don't like youngsters but the oldies have such strong personalities. We adopted two girls last year, they're now eleven - although they don't behave like it!

Its nice to be here.  I an expat living in South Holland.  I have been a cat owner for the past 8 years.  I have had some wonderful cats in my time.  We have a site in Holland where they are put on a website free to be picked up.  I have always given a home to older cats and they have lived out thier last days in peace with me and my 2 kids.  I am a widow.  In the last 3 years I have come across the most wonderful cat called Macho.  I will in time post photos and tell you about my mad but special cat.  His foto is in my profile pic.

Its nice to meet you all and get to know you in time.  ;) :Luv2:
