Thanks for the warm welcome guys..and girls .... and cats  ;) hehe its good to know I'm not the only one waking up wearing a beard of cat hair  :wow:

You're right solosdad they do look like each other  :Crazy: funnily enough my sister thought Chi was a boy at first so her real name is actually Chino, she only gets called that when she's naughty now. What happened to Solo is disgusting though  >:( I've signed the petition and also signed on behalf of my husband and son.

I'm busy getting the house ready for Hector, it's only a week away now!!!  :wow: I've been steaming and flea spraying all the rooms again.

Went to see him again last Thursday and took a few new photos, they're a little blurry though he's a lot more lively now.

cats on pillows! NEVER! (on beds, in beds, above bed on headboard, under bed, on top of covers, undercovers, on head, around neck....in fact anywhere they decide to be.....but the pillows aren't quite big enough for them  :Luv: :innocent:)

I confess our kitten also sleeps on my pillow - usually with a paw in my hair and a tail hanging about near my eye somewhere.  :evillaugh:   Hope you have lots of fun on the forum.

Glad you've found us, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.  It really is a very friendly forum with lots of friendly helpful advice, if ever needed, and of course lots of fun.

I do feel it my public duty to warn you though that it can be a teensy bit addictive  :Crazy: You have been warned  :evillaugh:

Your girls are gorgeous and little Hector is pretty cute too - bet you can't wait!  :Luv2:

As for cats on pillows, no - absolutely not, it's not right, no way  :-:  *cough cough* Well OK, maybe just occasionally every single night then  ;) (although I have started putting a blanket over the favourite pillow as one of my cats seems to spend most of his life on it  :evillaugh:)

Hi everyone,

Just found this place by chance last week while looking for Da Bird for my cats.

I have two 12 year old furbabies named Chi and Athena. Chi was my sisters cat that she'd had from being 6 weeks old, but she came to live with me 4 years ago when my sister moved down south. Unfortunately we discovered they Chi has renal failure last year so I've been trying to find something she will eat since then  :'( she's so fussy! 
I rescued Athena when she was 6 months old, she's very small possibly even a muchkin although her legs aren't as short as some I've seen. She has slept either on or next to my pillow most of her life lol I know that's a bit gross but I do make sure she gets flea'd and wormed regularly and  I bet I'm not the only one on here whos cat does that  :shify: The sound of purring sends me to sleep but she has recently started to snore!

I love them both to bits, and in two weeks we're adding a new furbaby to our brood, a male kitten named Hector! I'm so excited  :wow:

And this was Hector at 4 weeks and 2 days, hopefully going to see him again this week.
