Might be worth poppping round if possible .... they may be on holiday or they may have even moved or worse still, little one might be an orphan  :(
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

When I was in London I had a big huge B&W visit me every night and wanted to move in, I put up posters and his owners were on holiday as Rosella has said and he didnt like the person coming to feed him, so left.

I found out that he tried to move in next door too and I saw him in his home, flaked out on the sofa after his humans came home.

He visited me every night until I moved, was a long time.

I hope that you are able to trace the owners down, its unlikely they would chip and then leave the cat to fend for itself I think.

Poor little thing Ron  :(  Thank heaven you are able to take him in

Is the address anywhere near you?  Was wondering if someone could ask the neighbours if they are on hols and if they know what arrangements have been made for him?  Maybe someone was looking after him and he ran off?

Always such a worry for us when we catsit for neighbours gingers as they are allowed out when their slaves are on hols.  Thankfully they know us well now though so running off very unlikley............... altho a new roof was being put on their house on last holiday and I was very worried they would be very disturbed and do a bunk  :scared:
