If shes a queen then she may have just been got at by the local toms, she may be in a bit of shock from that - it's not a candlelit dinner and box of chocs event......

Spaying is a must even for indoor cats as it makes them happier and healthier. hopefully she will not have picked up anything else like FIV or FELV from her experience. Book her in now for spaying and it will prevent it happening again.

I hope your cat is ok.  All vets are required to provide 24 hour cover, even if they don't provide it themselves so ringing your vets number should get you through to whoever provides out of hours cover for them.

Hope to hear some news tomorrow (today ) - as i said , it happened to my Sophie and she was very upset for days after and kept her tail down for ages after .
I heard the scuffle ouside and i saw the cat - it was a stray , so i waited and caught it when i next saw it -it got taken to the vet for neutering and then i took it to a rescue for homing . It was a lovely cat and i heard it got rehomed quite quickly after.
This was about 9 -10 years ago now.

Emergency vets she may be in shock and need stabilising and she needs to be speyed once recovered fromthis ordeal as Un-neutered tom cats only want ladies in heat

Please keep us advised on how things go and hugs to you both at this stressful time

Your vet should have an emergency number on his phone, so would start by ringing your vets number

Other vets should also have an emergency number on their phone

Thanks everyone,
Are there any vets open at this time of night? My usual vets aren't open.

It's possible that she's been clipped by a car as like I said she's a indoor cat so won't have any road sense. But there are a hell of a lot of feral Tom cats around here! Would she really act this way from a Tom cat mating with her?

I will search for an open vets now, I'm very worried about her. I don't think I'll sleep tonight :(

As everyone else has said  - get her to the vet ASAP.
It sound to me as if a Tom cat has had her as my Sophie got attacked by a stray Tom years ago and acted like that .
Otherwise it could be a car hit her.

I'm so very sorry but I think you need to take her to an emergency vet as soon as you possibly can.

At the very least, I would urge you to telephone the emergency vet closest to you without delay.

Get to the vets NOW!

Have a look at her paws and claws, if they are all scuffed or broken....claws that is, she will have been hit by a car.

She could have internal injuries even if nothing else.

Hi,

I have tibby who is about 12 months old. She is an indoor cat, but managed to escape today. She was gone roughly 3 hours. She was perfectly fine before she left, but when she came back i noticed that she looked really tired in her eyes. Then she went to walk off and she is walking really really slowly, with her tail down. Like it takes all her energy to move. I've checked her for any cuts or blood but nothing. But around her bum area seems wet. But not bloody wet. She is now under my bed, when she's usually on it.

Anyone know what might have happened?

Im so worried, that she may have been clipped by a car or beaten up by a tom cat.
If a tom cat had done the deed with her would this cause her to act the way she is?

Thanks all
