Sounds great Steff - couldn't have worked out better  :)

I am trying to think of the name of the place in Bedford where I went to a wedding a few years ago. My friend Peri is from there and decided to get married back home.

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Hi Steff, that's great news I'll move and lock this now  ;D

I've been to Sharnbrook and it is a nice place and sounds ideal for the two ferals, lots of luck to them  :Luv:
Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

After ringing nearly every livery yard, stables, farm shop and even some farms in my local yellow pages I had a few maybes and one of those maybes called me back tonight.

I will be taking Tia and TwoFace up to a lovely old farmer gentleman who has his own family run farm and farm shop with lots of land and stables.  He already has a few ferals he looks after and provides food twice a day and shelter.  They will be going to live in a lovely little village called Sharnbrook which is where I used to go to school and my parents were actually going to buy a house up the road from this place.

I will take them up there in the puppy crate and let the gentleman keep the cart for a week or two so he can keep them in it initially before letting them out into the secure stables and eventually out onto his land.  He has introduced ferals before so knows it takes a couple of weeks for them to get used to being there and being fed regularly etc.

Please could a Mod move this thread to sorted and I will update on my other thread once they are actually settled in to their new home :)

Two Feral Beauties Looking For An Outdoor Home - HOMED
« Reply #1 on: November 12, 2010, 23:34:59 PM »
I have rescued a family of cats the car park area of a local Toby Carvery. I am currently caring for them in pens in my shed (which has electricity - so lighting and heating).

I have two kittens which I am taming down so they can go to normal homes in time.

I also have the mum (Tia) and her older male kitten (approx 6 months) from a previous litter (TwoFace). They have both just been neutered, flea treated, wormed and blood tested negative for felv and fiv.

They are such beautiful cats I wish I could fully tame them but don't feel its fair to keep them "caged up" in the meantime. So I am trying to find them a nice outdoor home (stables/small holding/large garden with shed/existing feral colony) where they can be fed and monitored.

If anyone can help please get in contact :)

I am based in Bedfordshire
