In answer to that, pet insurance DOES cover treating injuries, no matter how they're caused. It's a subject that you could write a book on but basically the 'best' cover is a high limit per year with the pot renewed each and every year rather than per condition where the pot runs out when you've spent the limit over X years or policies where they only cover for one year.
