So, just give them a whole wing, or cut it into smaller bits?

I'd cut them into 3 at the joints, a whole wing can be a bit daunting for a first time bone eater

Some cats need you to slit the skin and reveal the meat; Noah started with the wings jointed but would only pick the bone clean (happy as Larry for some time ). I then invested in a set of poultry shears and chop each joint in two and he eats most of the bone now. The marrow is high in protein and the bone itself provides essential minerals. I now buy frozen Value chicken portions as they are cheaper per kilo than wings, need less prep and are meatier. I've also bought whole organic chickens reduced and shared them with Noah - more ethical but not ideal if you prefer not to to touch meat.

Yep, just chuck em a whole wing and if they like it it will keep them entertained for hours

Raw chicken wings, bones and all are perfect. They will give their teeth a good clean too You're right, it's cooked bones that can cause problems.

I'd like to start feeding Drum and Bass some raw food occasionally, and as they both love cooked chicken I thought I'd give them raw chicken - but should I give them the bones as well? If they were eating prey, they'd eat - or at least chew - the bones so I feel that would be more natural. But I've heard of bones splintering and causing problems. Or is that just cooked bones? (I don't eat meat so it's a bit of a grey area for me!)
