Raised about £161 after expenses, but could be a bit higher than that.

Sadly I cancelled todays' fundraiser, the weather here was atrocious yesterday, so decided that doing a tombola in a park in the rain wasnt' the best way to raise money - today, it is really nice!! I might do a car boot next weekend to make up for it, and we have a dog show on the 17th June in Bury too.

Not the best sadly - total amount looked really good until we had to take out the cost of hte advert and what it has cost the fundraiser to buy it in at, but about £70, so it is something, and as the pub owner said, it will pay for a couple of neuters.

Our underwear sale is tomorrow, anyone in the area, please feel free to pop in and say hello while picking up some bargains - doing greetings cards as well as underwear.

We also have another tombola on the RSPCA's dog show - 20th May, Close Park, Radcliffe - hoping to do a doggy tombola if we can find enough things for it.

Anyone in the Bury/Oldham/Bolton areas, please come along on Sun and help support us and the other rescues!! The registration for the dog show starts at 10.30, but I think some of the stalls will be ready before that. Would love to see some of you there.

The car boot on the 28th might not happen, I feel like being selfish and having a bank hol weekend to myself am afraid!!

Got another fundraiser sorted, 29th April, a stall on an RSPCA dog show at a park in Bury. More details will follow. I managed to forget half the details, will get used to this organising events business at some point!!

Just finished finalising the fundraisers for this year, dates and 'types' are as follows

Monday 7th May - underwear sale, 12 - 4 - good range of first quality underwear at crazy prices - Dog and Duck pub, Oldham Town Centre.

Monday 28th May - car boot sale, Rochdale Town Hall

Sunday 15th July - Fun day at Dunwood Park Shaw - think it's a 12 noon start, hopefully a tombola and bric a brac.

Saturday 28th July - Coffee Morning at the British Legion, Shaw, 10-12 (I think), Tombola, raffle, and hopefully some home made goodies.

So, for those of you that live in the area, please come along and support us.
