I am delighted to report Kitty has been found, we caught her this afternoon  :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:    :happy dance: :happy dance: :happy dance:

We had a call yesterday saying a cat very similar to ours was asleep on her next door neighbours garage. As we had to go back to Wolverhampton last Friday I asked my sister to go over and have a look. She told me it was defanitely Kitty but while my sister was holding her something scared her, so she managed to wriggle free and run off again. Kitty later returned to the garden, so Laura, my sister was dispatched again to get her. Unfortunately by the time Laura arrived Kitty had gone again!.. so near yet so far!.

OH and I drove down from Wolverhampton last night, determined to catch her. We went to the area Kitty was last seen and saw an alley way nearby. We was calling her, shaking a box of cat treats, then stood and listened, we heard a feint miow. Kept calling her and the miows kept coming. First we thought she was in a shed, but when the home owner let us in the garden OH saw her in the next garden.

OH kept calling her, and eventually persuaded her to jump over the fence (OH caught her). Its  a huge relief that she has been found. OH is much happier and we had some tears of joy. Kitty is very skinny now, but is in good condition. Defanitely needs a flea and worm treatment now, but she has scoffed a pouch in 10 seconds flat and had plenty of treats. She also now doesn't let OH out of her sight (she was always his little princess, but I think their bond will be much stronger now).. Kitty cried when OH was in the back garden, immediately stopped when he  returned. She is now curled up, having some rest.  ;D :Luv2:

Ps: Could a moderator update my thread title. Thanks in advance.

She instantly recognised the picture and said she had seen Kitty very recently, sleeping on a shed roof.

What positive news  ;D Kitty looks very distinctive to me (quite unusual colour) so that's fantastic that she recognised the cat as being her

We took out some more posters today. OH took a poster into a local playground to ask a member of staff if it could be displayed. She instantly recognised the picture and said she had seen Kitty very recently, sleeping on a shed roof. She has said if she see's Kitty again she will try and catch her for us. The irony is this member of staff is actually my Dad's cousin, I had no idea!. So in the past 2 days we've had two good clues to go on, from the same area.  ;D

Well I had a phone call today from a woman who says she has found Kitty's collar, so we have a fresh area to start looking in. Weather is against us though.

Kitty, my 3 year old tortoise shell female is missing  :'( She has a white nose, front, belly and back legs. Grey and black tail as well as patches of ginger on her sides. she went out early Wednesday morning (July 28th) and we haven't seen her since. She did have her collar on - but I dont know if she is still has it. I'm in the New Malden, KT3 area. Really worried about her, as she usually only goes as far as the neighbours garden.
