Ahh!  I was thinking it was 1 token per box!  That is OK then  :)

It isn't that bad as there are 8 tokens per box of pouches. Soon adds up. I assume we have to type in the numbers on the boxes. Anyway, the less food CP HQ need to buy, the more money they have available for neutering vouchers etc. CP don't get a huge discount on food. If I remember rightly, they get 25% discount off retail prices which actually works out more than a lot of supermarket offers. Well that is the prices the branches pay ordering direct from Purina. They also do give HQ out of date pouches sometimes.

I've masses of those tokens cluttering the bottom of the big food storage bag and would love them to go to help rescue cats.

I think 24 tokens for 1 single :Luv: can of food for rescue cats is a bit stingy of Felix though.

It would be great if we could give them to rescues of choice rather than everything ending up at CP HQ.

I am sure that on Purrs we dump collectively loads of these tokens

Maybe we can have a Purrs account! As Angela says we had a email a while back offering a whole load of vouchers but its all gone quiet.. Not sure how you redeem them though! Not sure how it works to give to specific rescues... Maybe someone has tried to donate to a rescue of their choosing and can tells us..
Cannot save the world, but if everyone does something we can have a jolly good job trying too....

Bit of googling found this (couldn't find it on the normal rewards but wasn't really looking hard!)

http://www.worldoffelix.com/reward.aspx?id=3-18

24 tokens = 1 can of food.

You add quantity to basket, complete checkout, jot down the reference number and send tokens to the address it gives.

Great idea and fab way to use up all those tokens that normally get thrown away!

I probably recycle 6 - 8 a week. I would save them if it could help cats  :)

Just seen this on Cat Chat:

Hello all!
Didnt reaise this before, but I have found out that you can donate felix vouchers to Cats Protection.
I always save my Felix tokens, but never use them.
Just had a look on the Felix site and for every 24 tokens, they will donate a can of Felix (not much realy, but better than throwing them away if you dont use them!)
