It was luck combined with them being in our sun room they turn into "we will not move" cats when they are in there.

great pic, how an earth did you manage to snap them in exactly same postion like that..its fab, reminds me of syncronized swimming LOL (syncronized cat napping hee hee)

Penguin's been very good with other cats, when he moved from my mom's house to a foster mom's she had 2 other cats and a dog. He's done lovely with them.

He's also twice the size of Lirael/Smoke so I'm sure he'll cope.

Now if I could just get him back to being my cat (of 6 years) and not my husbands (who Penguin fell for in about 2 minutes!).

These two are starting to sleep on Lirael’s favourite pillow together now instead of the previous taking turns.

Yesterday I woke up with Smoke sleeping half on my pillow half on my head so I believe she’s settled in well.

In May we have my cat from the US flying over so the peace will only last for another month ;)

We've had Lirael for 2 years she was a rescue from a burmese breeder and my husbands first cat. I made the mistake of telling him that cats are calm loving creatures and brought home a monster ;)

He's coped well.

2 months ago (well, April 2nd really) we went to the local rescue and adopted Smoke a 14 month old dsh and the trials began.

a few weeks of hissing, growling and swatting later they've finally started to come around and let me take a picture
