Thanks guys   We suspected that this may have to be the outcome for the old boy but we were willing to do what we could for him but once under this morning it was worse than we even thought.

We are taking solace in the fact that we gave him a chance and love before he passed.  :'(   He may have only been here a couple of days but he will always be remembered as a Harbour Babe who has passed to RB with another piece of our hearts. :Luv2:

Sorry Sarah but I understand you had no choice for Taz's own good  - He didn't look right even from seeing one picture  :(. As soon as I read "ulcerated mouth" alarm bells rang and I half-expected he was at the end  :'(

I'm really sorry to have to report that we had to make the very hard decision this morning not to wake Taz from his sleep. :'(

Once sedated our vets found a huge mass on the roof of his mouth that combined with his kidney issues and general condition it was felt that he would have no quality of life and at best would only have another month or 2 left which would have made for a painful uncomfortable end to his many years.

We felt the only option we had was to allow Taz to pass peacefully and with his dignity. We are SO gutted for this wee fella.  He was such a huge purrsonality and had been through SO much n recent months.

Rest easy now our boy we'll miss you even though you were only with us a few days :'( :'(

What is going on with his nose?

His nose got me at first too but its actually brown pigment / fur.

He is quite the character we have to admit but full of love and cattitude.  His wee mouth is all ulcerated at the moment but we hope after tests today we will know how best to proceed with him.

All paws are very much crossed for this wee fella. :wish:

I'd like to introduce you all to a new arrival by the name of Taz and to ask you to keep your paws crossed for the old boy who is going for bloods tomorrow with suspect CRF

He's around 15 yrs old and his mum has gone into hospital indefinitely.  He's such a sweet ol boy but in rotten shape  :'(.  Hopefully after bloods tomorrow we can help him in some way or another. :wish:
