Hey everyone..just thought i'd let you know that Snooch is home :yesss: she has spent the past week in a local hotel..who did assure me that they hadn't seen her & i believed them as she really doesn't like big groups of people..

She seems ok..thinner & a little jaded but health wise ok..Paul my OH was here when she returned & now she won't leave him alone..ran after him meowing when he went back to work..i'm going to have words with her later & remind her that she's a mummys girl.... ;D

Thankyou all for your kind words of support & advice..like i said in my other post, i would have gone to pieces by now if it wasn't for the fab purrs people.. :thanks: love you all :Luv:

OMG..i'm really not handling this very well people..i've just blubbered down the phone to the poor lady at my local RSPCA centre..getting annoyed with people who are just trying to be nice but i don't want to hear..."ooo you know what cats are like..she's probably left home & snuggled up with an elderly lady whose at home all day every day"..no! why would she..she has a bloody good home here with me..infact cats would que around the block to live here...

I really don't know what else to do..i've been down sams list & ticked off everything (apart from ringing the local refuse centre..cant face that just yet!)..i'm just torturing myself thinking that shes lying somewhere either hurt or locked somewhere dark & cold & wanting her mum..i feel like i'm letting her down because its been 72hours & i haven't found her..aaarrggghh

Hope you have some good news soon about Snooch.

I've been there and know how you feel and so have many others.  Just keep thinking you will see him running home soon.

Put posters next to pubs/libraries/post offices/phone boxes/letter boxes etc. - places where people will walk past and see them.

Lots of luck.

Positive vibes coming your way

As Sootyca says it's highly likely that she has got herself shut in somewhere so do persevere with the door knocking and asking people to check their sheds/garages while you wait.

I'm sure you will have seen 'Sam's tips' but just in case you haven't... http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,305.0.html

Oh, and as an aside it doesn't matter how often people post - you're still part of the Purrs family

  Here;s hoping she finds her way home. It's possible if it's been a nice day where you are she may have got stuck inside a shed/garage so leafleting the area is a must.   If you are able, I would recommend going out at night when it is quieter and  walking the neighbourhood calling for her (making sure you also stay still to listen for her calling back to you) - I found my neighbour's cat this way just last week.  He had been gone three days and was in a garden about 10 doors away but had got disorientated and couldn't find his way home.  There is also a list of things to do which I'm sure someone will link to.

I know what it's like, I've been down that road before.

Hey Purrs peeps..i know i don't post that often but i do read most threads & was just wondering if everyone could send positive thoughts as i'm only having negative 1's now :(..Snooch has been missing for 28hrs now..we've been around all her favourite places, asked neighbours & rang the vets..just in the process of making up posters..i'm probably being over dramatic but its just not like her to be away from home for more than a few hrs! :thanks:

Edit to change title - now home safe!
