To be honest i dont know what breed he is, i got him from a guy who resued cats 8 years ago, i saw him in the cage and he stood out to me, he looked like a panther, and i wanted him instantly, the guy was a bit worried because he thought he might be a bit much for me, as he had been brought in by his former owner who couldnt cope with him.
Well he has been a marvelous cat, he isnt a lounge on the back of the sofa cat, he interacts to a degree when he feels in the mood, he howls like a siamese, and he has been a very fast and clever cat over the years, he comes when you call him, and thinks nothibg of getting in the car with me, or walking down the street with me.
He has got me into trouble over the years though, howling outside at night( he is neuterd), and going into peoples houses, and knocking their ornaments off, i was sure he was going to get me an asbo at one point. lol
He has slender feet and a slender body although he is much heavier than he looks, he has a slightly wedged shaped head and slightly pointed face. I dont know if he is a pure breed or a cross breed.
He has a short sleeky black coat with a warm brown under sheen to it. When he is kneeding his inerlids cover over makes him look chinese.
So he could be siamese, oriental, havana or may be a cross of theses.
opinions welcome on what you think he could be.
He is very tolerant with people although wheb he was younger he was fierce towards dogs. We had toy poodles years ago, and they wanted to fuss him, i thought he was going to take their eyes out, but he got used to them in the end, and they used to lick his ears. He seems ok with other cats, but he howls outside if another cat comes into his territory, evan at his age of 10 - 12 years old.
