Well good ole Barney managed to get into the Sun no less http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2915903/Moggy-cat-ches-a-burglar-in-the-act.html He's also had a request by some womans magazine I think it's called Real? not sure but there is a contract being sent in the post for him to browse over and sign with a pawprint

They've offered to pay him a £100 for his version of events

So between us we've decided to send it to the admin on here and they can send it to a worthy rescue. If someone can let me know how to go about this, it would make my life easier than trawling through the whole site to find out how...

Well the court case is all over and done with now, the villain received 97 days jail time. Unfortunately the owner of the property who was in hospital at the time has since died. The local press came here last Thursday to take photos of me and Barney must of spent over an hour here snapping away..... Today I received another phone call from them saying I wasn't very photogenic

and could they come again today and just take photos of Barney!!

I mentioned this to my vets a couple of days later and had a bit of a laugh over it, never thought anything of it and kind of forgot about it. Any way today I recieved a letter summoning me to give evidence in court next month. And the receptionist from the vets telephoned to say that Barney and Toffee had be awarded a bag of Hills t/d food and wait for it..... a dose of free worming pills!!!

Pleased as punch really as the neighbour who house it belongs to was burgled last year whilst he was there, being an old boy in his 80s they beat him up quite badly

As seen so often now it ends up with them living in fear and too frightened to go out. This is what happened to this chap and as he has no known family he was eventually taken into local authority care and I believe the council forced him to hand over the house to pay for his care

Anyway had to go on an identity parade this afternoon to pick him out, so easy to choose as he was the only one with a complete shiny bald head in the line up

This morning (5am) two of my cats Toffee & Barney caught one in the act in a neighbours back garden, I was half asleep in bed when I heard them chattering and thought it's a bit to early for the birds, so got up to see what the fuss was all about to see them totally focused on a neighbours back doors with the burglar crowbar in hand trying to force his way in. Within 30 minutes this chap was safely tucked up in his new accomodation namely the local police station

The police then came in to take a statement and thanked the cats aswell
