Whats my secret? Ummmm you may have to ask other Canterbury Peeps about that.. But Silky has been rehomed to a district nurse who lives in a nice area but is nr a busy rd. So we figured after a homecheck that Silky is unlikely to be climbing walls or wandering far.. And this lady did want "the older the better"......

Rehoming is teamwork.. maybe we just have a good team!

She is nearly as lovely as my Noah.  :Luv2: Litter trays are part of having cats, if you don't like it train them to use the toilet! I hope she has left them with some lingering smells memories.
:'( My beautiful Noah rescued 13/02/09, adopted 11/10/09, taken 11/02/11 :'( You deserved so much more.

She is gorgeous and doesn't look her age. Hope she gets a lovely forever home soon.
What is wrong with people? What a pathetic reason to pts. I have 2 indoor cats aprox 9 months old. We have 2 hooded litter trays in our flat you wouldn't know they were there.

On our website and PR i have deliberately avoided stating her age..and one never asks a proper lady her age.. But for you in whispers its around 16yr.. I think Julie (Pinkbear) knows for sure as she was the person that took the original call from the vets...

Silky HOMED!!
« Reply #1 on: January 07, 2010, 16:20:56 PM »
Silky is a mature lady. who came into our care via the vets after her owners decided they wanted her PTS.. due to the fact they would not put a litter tray down.. Being a proper lady Silky was not so keen to go outside in this cold weather and started to make a mess indoors.. Anyhows.. that is all in her past.. Silky is a lovely, very affectionate puss cat that loves to sit on laps, be fussed, picked up and groomed. She is good with her food and is very, very lean with her litter tray. She also has a habit of opening doors.!! She would probably benefit from a quiet home without young children and ideally an only cat. She has no experience with doggies. Silky definately does not look like (or act like) a mature puss cat and is very active, but she does like her beauty sleep in the afternoon.. She would benefit from somone being around during the day, but has been used to a fairly busy household with free access to the outside which she likes but not when its cold!

Silky is up to date with all her vac and is chipped

Currently in care of Canterbury CP.. Kent.. Homecheck will be required if rehoming outside our area.
