LMAO.   I burst out laughing when I noticed you hadn't even got time to take the tags off before Kylie laid claim to the armchair.   Almost like she was waiting on the delivery for herself.   :ha ha :

*Sigh*  you gotta love 'em though.    (I love the double sided fleece/fur blanket btw).   Don't want Mols to hear......she'll want one :shify:

Glad to see Kylie's sharing with Clapton - when do you and Dennis get your turn?  Bet you 2 have been sent to the attic  :naughty:

I was hoping to get a decent one but he wouldn't stay still  :evillaugh:

I can never understand people who don't allow pets on furniture - it is a family room after all  :evillaugh:

We are trying to stop kylie sharpening her claws on the sofas though  :scared:

I tried to film him but there was only a tablr lamp on in the corner so not very good.

I went into the dining room/new sitting room last night and Clapton was parked on the other new sofa  ;D

The dynamics have changed a bit and he is becoming more confident. As soon as I grabbed the camera, he moved and wanted to play with the strap  :evillaugh:

Not satisfied with nabbing the new chairs, I sorted out my revision stuff and planned to start properly (about a week behind) I had all my books etc laid out on the coffee table, went to get a drink and came back to kylie laid out exactly where I was sitting  :evillaugh: - I woiuldn't mind but there are 2 sofas!

btw - I have no idea how the pillow got there as I don't plan on having a nap for long

like the cat tree only a foot away >:(

Is that cat tree big enough? the best tip I was given is get a really big tree so they can stretch.

I bought a big cat tree a few years ago and they wouldn't go near it. It was almost 5ft high with a bed section in the top. I tried everything such as catnip, getting them to rub their paws on it etc but they were not remotely interested. It was a good one as well  :tired: (Luckily I got it in a pet shop closing down sale) - it has had good use though as Caroline has it in her foster pen in the garden (although foster usually end up in the house as she normally fosters kittens with an indoor kitten room and oldies on their last legs who usually just lie in an armchair  :) ) and plenty of other cats have enjoyed it  :)

have just ordered two faux fur throws on E-Bay - hopefully if I cover the sofa for a while he will find somewhere else to strop his claws - like the cat tree only a foot away >:(

sorry to highjack Kylie's thread, Mark - she is a very handsome girl, and looks made for that chair - or should it be the chair looks made for her :evillaugh:

Poor Clapton is hiding behind a sofa (the existing one in there  :evillaugh: ) and has been since the delivery men were here nearly 3 hours ago - I just hope he will go for a wee soon.

after coming out from behind the sofa, I hope :evillaugh:

Tiffany and Trigger never touched my leather sofa in 8 years, and Tosker has practically shredded it in 3 months - I have a new one coming next month, a much more expensive one too, so any tips as to how to deter him would be very welcome

If you find out can you tell me, ours have been shredded  :hairrasin:

It's nice to see her relaxed as you can imagine the last couple of week the other cats didn't get much attention. Poor Clapton is hiding behind a sofa (the existing one in there  :evillaugh: ) and has been since the delivery men were here nearly 3 hours ago - I just hope he will go for a wee soon.

Well that chair is definitely hers as she had a run around the garden and went straight back to it  :tired:  :evillaugh:

I don't know why we bother getting nice things as they have to be swathed in throws if they are to have a chance  :evillaugh:

We had a couple of sofas and a couple of armchairs delivered this morning (courtesy of Multiyork sale  :evillaugh: )

Within seconds, Kylie was scratching one of the sofas  :scared:

Then she picked on of the armchairs as her own  :Luv2:
