You could try food bins in supermarkets and local grocers to help cover the food part

Hope you don't mind, Tan.

I've nominated Busters Memorial Fund as my donation recipient for Easyfundraising.com.

You will be receiving a request from them tonight to register as a Cause.

I know Kumfykats and Coventry Cats are already registered, I look after them in my own way but feel that Busters Fund is very worthwhile and one that needs to be supported. The work you support through Busters fund is quite unique, and no-one esle seems to be running this kind of Pan-UK initiative.

Please read up on the small print, Easyfundraising costs nothing for the donor, so it's just a matter of awareness of which retailers are part of the scheme. I know Purrs isn't all about fundraising, but if we all did our weekly shop/christmas present shopping (Amazon, John Lewis, Sainsburys etc)via this site, with Buster as our nominated recipient, well, who knows?

Apart from getting one of the supermarkets to allow you to shake a bucket, I dont have any ideas,,,,they may want proof that you are a bonafide rescue though.

Tamar Rescues have just be offered the use of a pen (for a minimal fee) in a local cattery to hold cats waiting for their forever homes. The cattery is a small run family affair and they spend a lot of time giving animals in their care individual attention and are excited at being able to help us.

I need some easy fundraising ideas to raise money to cover the minimal fee and food (approx £20.00 per week). I need to raise enough money to cover the Christmas period as I already have 2 cats waiting to come in.

Any ideas welcome.   :shy:
