I can imagine, cos 4 years ago at this time was about to move and the house was all boxes and then it took another 3 months for me to actually move!

I never want to live in rooms full of boxes again and I am hoping to move next year grrrrrrrrrrrr

I hope the move goes very well for you

Yes you can but very often you will find the PO scales are differnt LOL  :shify: :shify:

And if its on a weight or size border line, they will always be over the line LOL

Seriously though the best estimate is all that is needed  ;D

I can put your items into the auction for you but will need a photo of each, and a description, plus how much the P&P will be. To get this take to a PO and weigh it and get them to give you a price and remember with packaging it will be bigger and heavier.

Just wanted to say that you don't need to go to the Post Office to find out how much they will cost to post (I know you have a little one so simple trips become a major expedition!).  You can weigh the items on your kitchen scales and find out exactly how much it would cost here http://sg.royalmail.com/portal/rm/PriceFinder?catId=23500532&gear=pricingcalc

The auction will start on Sun 22 Nov which is 3 weeks away but it runs for two weeks to Sun 6 Dec.

I can put your items into the auction for you but will need a photo of each, and a description, plus how much the P&P will be. To get this take to a PO and weigh it and get them to give you a price and remember with packaging it will be bigger and heavier.

With these details I can put it/them in for you or you can if you are back on line again.

Items come into the auction all the way through and bidding starts immediately the auction opens and carries on until the closing time on the last day, 2000 precisely by the Purrs clock LOL

If you want to do this please pm me and we can discuss  ;D

Help Help Help Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now heres what i need some help with.
We are moving house next Monday and I have found out from AOL that it will take 2-3 weeks to be re connected to the internet.
If the auction is within that period I then cannot put my items in.
If this is the case I would be happy to give them to someone else to put in and I will give them a cheque for the postage and get stuff to them b4 auction.
Im really annoyed with AOL!! I have perdycat wrapping paper and ribbons and bows all ready for wrapping :'( so when whoever wins it, its a nice little suprise.

So I must put my cat blanket in and the pink and fluffy item that is not a poodle having a bad hair day.
I have to do this for Flump, for his memory so please  :help: :allears:

I will also not be on the forum for 3 weeks :'(

Last year I did cos my puter broke and had to rush 400 miles to get it sorted and was sitting behind a laptop trying to follow what was going on in tiny writing and was exhausted LOL

Didnt start driving home until gone 0400 in morning after no sleep and never ever again!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr lost my post while getting this link to last years auction

http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/board,88.0.html

We need sellers to get the buyers and look on the link at a long thread to see how the bidding works.

Its an art form all of its own and very sneakie and me and my helper hannah, try each night to keep the bidding going on as many items as possible for two weeks.

Blooming hard work it is too and the last hour of the last day is CRAZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Instructions for the auction are being worked on right now by moi and I know who is getting the proceeds  ;)

This will be announced in a couple of weeks and not taking bribes LOL

Others are working oon precuring goodies from compamies and think that with all your support its looking good  ;D

Ummmmm what was your question trigger  :innocent:

buyers who are having a cat fight is best cos we get more money when thye like the same thing and really want it.  :naughty:

We seem to have the right amount every year and we get a nice amout of money and it's just enough work for Gill to cope with.

So you can be a buyer or a seller - no one minds.

I'm sure that oor kitties won't mind us putting forward a couple of the personalised blankies like we have last couple of years... will ask them which they would like to offer up for auction! ;-)

I'm sure those who have won the embroidered blankies the last couple of years will be able to vouch for them!  ;-)

I have one of those bergan 5 in 1 turbo tracks which was only played with while I took photos and then catagorically ignored (in favour of a cardboard box!) for a few months before I gave in and packed it away.

Samson has also agreed, rather dismissvely it has to be said, to part with the small scratching post which he's perfected ignoring.

I have something for the auction - definitely a collector's item.  Its unused - in fact was unopened until a few minutes ago when I unearthed the envelope from the depths of my office cupboard and wondered what was in it. Yes I feel  sure people will be fighting over this disk version of the Purrs Calendar for 2007/8   Just as well I bought a paper version as well.
