Just catching up on posts, here's my proper  :welcome: to Purrs message, although you seem right at home already  :)

Your babes are simply adorable, and how anyone can say any cat is ugly is beyond me, they are all different, and all wonderful.  Socks is a hunk, and very gorgeous indeed  :Luv: :Luv2: as are all our babes on Purrs  :Luv:

Nooooooooooooooo wait, wait waaaaaaaaaaaaaaait!!!!!!

I'll give you 53p for that handsome hunky chunk of a tux!!!!!!!  Phhwwwwoooooarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  :Luv2: :Luv: :Luv:

And ccmacey, there are days when I would pay people to have Obi.... he's a little monster cleverly disguised as a cute kitten!  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: Tuppence and you can have him the next time he fishes all the furminated fur out of the bin to *snuggle* up to because he thought it was Socks :-[

Obi is using the Savic cage at the moment and is doing great impressions of a rat starfishing! He must have known rats were my original choice... but meh... 2 big mean hunter boys, it wasn't to be... :'(

Thank you... I have just told him, but I think he was too busy soaking up the sun to reply...

I don't know how people can say he's ugly... he has the most expressive face I've ever seen in a kitty *poles avatar*.

This is what Socks says to meanies..... :P :P :P

I can assure you you will NEVER be told off for posting too many kitty pics on here .... the only time you get told off on this site is if you haven't posted enojugh pics  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Love all the toys by the way - your boys are obviously VERY spoilt (and quite rightly so  ;) )

Hello again,

Thanks for even more welcomes  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv2: :Luv2:

Thanks for the comments re my furbabies.... and yay to people thinking Socksy is a hunk, most people say he's ugly  :'( :'( >:(

Den, I got the Octopus and Turtle from Pets at Home I think...or possibly Sainsbury's (I got the silly dragonfly thing from there at the weekend which is by the same company, Cat Circus).

Gah have spent 30 mins searching for them on the net, the best I can come up with is this webby which sells a lot of toys by Cat Circus (I've linked this page as I'm sooooooooooo getting these toys after I've posted this!!!!!): http://www.trustpet.co.uk/cat-circus-hairy-friends-x-12-p4097  I love them!!!!!! <<< gah just checked think this is wholesale only  :'(

To be fair, I have had the Octo and Turtle for ages - they were for Kimba when he had a stay at the vee-ee-tee's that terrified him to death  :-[ :-[

Just for lols.... their newest toys:

Domo (the brown monster thing) from Forbidden Planet - because the kitties look sooooo cute playing with him (and he's great in photos lol!)
Big blue knot is from the dog section at PAH... they love it.
Dragonfly - from Sainsbury's, by Cat Circus
Yoda - got today as a present for my fella's b'day on Monday (really it's for the cats. Obi and Yoda.... geddit?)
The Hungry Caterpillar I got today also because it's from my fave book as a child (I tested it, it's safe!)
And the red pepper, bought today also...Oh my gosh!!! I wanted this for ages but never picked it up.... Obi has half killed it already, he love love loves it!!!! Clever boy! You can see the damage on the green bits!

Oh wait, is that Obi's fury little tush to the right of the pic?? What can he possibly be playing with??? A toy out of shot?.....
Nope, Mummy's lens cap

*siiiiiiigh* How awesome are cat toys....I love them!

Just want to say thanks again for welcoming me, I'm so happy to have found the right community for me and the boys (I got shouted at on Facebook for talking about the boys and posting too many cat pics!)

Thanks again!!  :thanks: :Luv2:

:evillaugh: But Liz does!!

25???? Oh my gosh!! Oh please let my babies live that old (and healthily)..

Eeeep 11 ferals!! That's awesome, sounds like a nice cat loving neighbourhood  :Luv2:

it is really, most of us have a couple of cats and care for the ferals, we have kennels but they tend to sleep in the allotments behind us or go in next doors conservatory because she has Tiggy who was ex-feral and he takes them all in.  They are semi-feral really because most I can get a foot or 2 away from but would run off if I reached out to stroke them.

Our Raggie Minmin - yup even my Posh cat is a reject has just had her chin done and is now eyeing up my emery board!

We also have about 10 ferals living in the single garage and wendy house down the garden - hubby does moan about the electric bill in winter - I use heat pads - elec ones in the garage and the dogs micro pad is in the wendy house at night they are very feral and won't come near us or the house in daylight but do so love all the nice food and warmth in the winter I am the mug at 11 at night wading through the snow to put out fresh weater and heat pads!

We have on the most a happy household but our ferals have all been colony cats over the years and we used to foster ferals and kittens for CP before we moved out then 37 cats and 2 dogs 150 miles 3 years ago - the 37 included our feral colony at our last house as no one would feed them - they are now happy house cats!

We also have 2 Peacocks living in the tree at the side of the garage - no idea where they came from but I have been feeding them and we have Bambi and her sister in the paddock - we live in the middle of nowhere - no street lights for 3 miles and have woods on 2 sides where we are assured there are Badgers and we also have a couple of foxes - - we also both work to keep this lot in the manner they all grow accustomed to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! Owned by 3 cats and going ever so slightly crazy...
« Reply #1 on: September 08, 2009, 16:40:24 PM »
Hello everyone,

My name is Foley and I live in the West Midlands.

I had my first cat at the age of 15. He lived 16 years and died aged 16ish. (RIP my furbaby Mac).

I now have 3 cats....

Socks, male, 4 years old, tuxedo - phhhwooooarrrrr (had him since he was 8 weeks)
Socks is huge but the softest most loving kitty I've ever known. He mothers ( :Luv2:) Obi and talks to me in a variety of voices. He also loves head nudging people for kisses. He's just one big chilled out hunk of feline perfection.

Kimba, male, 3 years old, tabby (again had him since 8 weeks old, he was a new friend for Socks after his brother died aged 1)
My grumpy bum *real* cat. The cat who does what he wants when he wants (fine by me). But also has the sweetest side to him. Formerly shy, he now likes to growl, hiss and spit but has never ever taken a swipe at me even when he's yodelling his little tush off and growling like a mini beast.

And last but not least... the little guy who is sending me insane....
Obi, male, 13 weeks, 3/4 Russian Blue, had him since he was 8 weeks old.... arghghghgh
Just as you'd expect a kitten to be, silly, silly, silly silly and oh so nosy!!!! However he is obsessed with Socks and Kimba  :-:

I have joined this forum as I need some serious help with my 3 boys. The introduction of Obi has caused WW3   >:(

I have a couple of issues but I'll post them separately in the relevant topic areas. I hope this isn't considered spamming  My simple brain would prefer me to sort out each issue individually rather than write an epic topic on all my woes....

Lovely forum by the way, looking forward to learning lots more about kitties (and feeling slightly ashamed that I have just realised I actually don't know that much)

Kind regards
Foley
