He certainly is better! He has run up and down the stairs several times, bounced off the settee and played hide and seek with Ben and one of my fosters. I will have to get a piccie of him with his tail, he has a tail like Basil Brush!

Got some more of him. He has been to the vets and she thinks he has sustained a soft muscle injury when he has leapt off the bed/stairs/scratch post at his usual 60 miles an hour. Metacam for a week and she mentioned the REST word. Volunteers please to tell him!

Just the one so far as he is feeling a bit sorry for himself. He has started limping tonight on one of his rear legs, got a feeling he has overdone it with the kiss chase with Ben, so will need to keep an eye on him. This is the fisrt time he has come onto my lap and he is a bit uncomfortable. Oh well another trip to the vets then!

It's chaos here, one of my foster queens had a difficult birth on Monday night and has only just started to settle properly to see to the kittens, I have a foster cat that looks as if she has an eye infection, territorial fights breaking out as one of my lads has suddenly decided to take on all comers and a teenager that expects me to drop everything to talk about what he wants to do after he leaves school next June.

Piccies will be forthcoming the weekend once I dare puit my head above the Parapet without it being shot at!

Lord knows how he is doing it, but Taz is taking all this is his stride and has settled in wonderfully but does not allow cuddles yet.

If no piccies posted by Sunday, can you sack me, PLEASE!

ok, Taz has landed and as space is at a bit of a premium at the mo with fosters in upstairs, he has had to come into the front room with the general cat population. He seems fine, sitting on the windowsill watching the world go by and showing healthy curiosity towards the other cats. He is a lovely sami long haired mackeral tabby. Not seen a mackeral tabby for years!

Needed advocating when he came in and suffice to say he is better off with me and I am glad that I got him out of there.

Anyway I have convinced his previous owner to get his mum neutered and so can anyone CP bods help by sending her a voucher and keep up the momentum on her to get mum done? This is fairly urgent and it is a miracle that mum has not become pregnant again and she is only 3, so there is plenty of breeding years in her, so she needs doing asap. If anyone can help from the Chesterfield CP's then PM me and I will send over her address.

I am proud to announce that little Taz as he is known, after a week or so of numerous emails backwards and forwards, is coming to live with me, the OH, one teenager, 5 cats, 5 chickens, 2 rabbits and various short and long term fosters on SUNDAY!

He sounds perfect, he thrives on fuss, cuddles and busy households like ours. He needs feline company of which he will get plenty of and adores teenagers (well someone has to).

I just need to sort vaccinations and a couple of other litle things need sorting when he hits 6 months old

but apart from that he is a babe.
