It really is a very small world! So pleased for him.  :Luv:

Denbigh is my usual vets and I know there was talk of putting Batfink down but Heidi the vet nurse was determined this wasn't going to happen...they are fab in there and I think Batfink was getting a little bored of being in a cage, he was a very loveable and a talkative little man and really needed somewhere he was going to get the attention.  He was also unneutered but I sorted a voucher out for him so he could be done before he went to his new home, I'm sure I'll get to hear how he is as Heidi made sure he went to a lady that was local and she will get to see him now and again :Luv:

You could try PMing Diddydawn. I know she is sorting out personal issues but she might be able to put out an emergency plea to her contacts. I know she is in Wales but no idea where in relation to Batfink

I can now confirm it's at a vets surgery in Denbigh itself. I have details if anyone can take him.

North Wales (Denbigh area). I'm not exactly sure which vets it is. I'm waiting for a reply!

Batfink! (HOMED)
« Reply #1 on: August 30, 2009, 11:29:03 AM »
I've heard on the grapevine that there is a lovely little 3 year old called Batfink (great name) which is being held at a vets in North Wales (Denbigh area), who is at risk of being pts.

Apparently he's a 3 year old, black fellow who really doesn't like other cats. The vets have tried to home him once, but he didn't get on with the household cat so has ended up back with them. The owner of the vets have given the staff a week to find a home for him or he'll be pts. They've tried the local rescues but everyone is saying that they are full.

Can anyone help? I'm awaiting further details from my friend's little sister, who works at the vets.
