Well, I have been with the GORGEOUS Garcia this morning and he is definitely growing up.......he is now 748 gms which is over 3 times his weight when he came in!

He is a real little devil and loves chewing you to bits.....I have been trying to teach him, but he just wont listen!

Anyway - took some cute photos that I thought you might like.

You can see what a wonderful job T is doing on his eye - it is still not 100% but so much improved from how it was.

I am still in luuurvvvee!

JO Ripley would love a little brother for the Football team,  not so sure my nerves or my curtains could cope with another kitten right now, but I hear from Garcia that he would much rather live in the Kingston area and is very fond of cakes

Oh, you did did you ?  :evillaugh:

Better send your lot some Chloe cakes  ;)

Hmmm - that lot will go nowhere - heres a few more!!

Ah, Garcia The Magnificent: do you think you might like life down south?

Whats this?  :shify: Are you considering C?  :wow:

It was an unguarded moment of temptation  :innocent:  Garcia is so beautiful he'll be snapped up pdq to a lovely home: if ever I do decide to try Blip with another cat, he would be one that was proving hard to rehome for some reason.  There have been five from Paws Inn over the years, but all found wondeful homes in the end  :Luv:

Erm.. :innocent: Unguarded? You, my friend? You kept that well hidden ;)

Oh my... I never mentioned it before but Im sure I seen two faint horns on his head!  :shify: :evillaugh:

Those faint horns will have disappeared by his 1st Birthday our Garcia will be a pure white cat and angelic. I have had words with him this afternoon and told him its time he grew up a bit, I have been mollycoddling him and letting him sit on my lap to feed which takes at least 20 minutes, just put dish of food in his pen and all gone in less than 10 minutes, ever felt like you`ve been had
Also cut down eye treatment from 4 hourly to 3 times daily as it is looking good.

Aunty Claire came last night to give me some much needed support and of course to give Garcia his cuddles; she gave him his 10pm meal to give me a rest and I gave him his meds afterwards; Claire was thoroughly enjoying cuddling him until the medication which causes profuse salivation caused him to send projectile vomit all over her, how lucky was I to escape that  he has never been sick before. I left fresh food in his pen last night and he had eaten every scrap by 5 this morning and he seems really bright. He bit my finger this morning good and deep and it wouldnt stop bleeding, think maybe he is a monster disguised as an angel  Anyway Aunty Claire will be back later today for more cuddles and anything Garcia may throw at her thats after she`s done cash/carry run with OH so I can stay here with little ones.

Helen you would need a video of epic proportions if i posted all of our rescues on here, most of them are never mentioned.

Thanks Everyone, his temp went up again at lunchtime but he`s back to normal again now and eaten a huge tea.
Heres couple of pics taken half hour ago, gives an idea of the progress we are making with his eye.

Teresa can you please slow down... I've almost got enough piccies of 'before and after' for the Save a Life Video II just from Paws Inn alone!

You will get Garcia through this sweetie, you can never 100% isolate I'm sure, and this is just one of those unfortunate instances, not anyone's fault, definitely NOT your fault.

If you had not taken these babes on they would not have a chance in the first place, you make such an amazing difference to all of these babies, please do not give yourself a hard time

Life can be cruel and inexperience may have led you to lose Charity and Tiny Tim all those years ago but think of all the little ones who now have good lives because of you and the love and help you bestowed on them without thought to your own wellbeing :wow: as for little Garcia and the Sir Lots they are testament to your dedication, Garcia now looks wonderful and im sure the others will soon follow and blossom in your care

Oh he's just a gorgeous little scrap!      He actually looks fantastic!  ;D  You did that missus - you!   :poke:

Yes And I gave him a nasty parasite which will haunt me forever.
20 years ago I was bottlefeeding 3 kittens Faith , Hope and Charity, someone brought a minute scrap to the door Tiny Tim, inexperience led me to put Tiny Tim in with my girls , Tiny Tim carried a virus and I lost him , I also lost Charity 4 days later,to this day it still haunts me I cost Charity her life; perhaps people will understand why I go on about isolation, I learnt from that terrible mistake and poor Garcia should not have this awful thing now.
