Thanks for the warm wecome everyone :)  I'll pass on the compliments to the boys.  Their names are Grumpy (bigger, more sandy than gingey) and Wee'un (smaller and more ginger).  When we first got them as newborns we didn't expect to keep them and just named them by their traits, Grumpy was the one who wailed whenever he was hungry and Wee one was, well, small!  Their brother who passed away was called Tatty.  Poor boys, such silly names.  The vet always does a double take when they see the next patient is called "Grumpy"  :innocent:

Hi there, I'm new(ish) to the board, I've been lurking a while, thought it about time to introduce myself and the boys.

I'm Katie, 25, live on the South coast of the UK.  I have two cats at the moment, brothers, ginger, neutered of course!  They have a bit of a story to them....

Just over two years ago I went to live in South Africa for a year as my husband is South African.  One day at work he found three newborn kittens in a cement mixer in the factory he worked at.  The mother must have had them there overnight and been frightend away by the workers in the morning, sadly the factory worked long days and the babies would have been dead by the time she could come back so I took them and hand raised them myself.  We lost one one boy at two and a half weeks old :( but I promised him I'd take care of his brothers, and that's what I did, bringing them back to the UK with us when we came back.  Photos attached.  Also while in South Africa I fostered several other kittens and worked in an animal shelter, happiest days of my life!
