As you will all know, my beloved Max went to the Bridge a few weeks ago.
We hadn't really thought of getting another cat quite so soon
but I think the fickle paw of fate has been at work, and I heard from my friend at CP that a little FIV boy had come into the rescue, and was living in the garage as the pens are full to bursting.
We went to meet him last Friday, and he is an absolute Babe, he current called Patch, but he will be called Poot, aka Mr P. He's somewhere between 1-2 and was neutered and vet checked on Monday whilst we were on holiday.
We're really excited, and he's coming to live with us on Friday, so 2 more sleeps
Went shopping today to buy new litter tray, food bowls etc, and a feliway diffuser as I'm not sure how many Maxy smells might still be around that we're just so used to, so it might help him settle quicker.
He's such a little cutie, really give you big headbutts, licks your fingers then gently nibbles them, and likes cuddles - here he is at the rescue
I'll keep you all posted with how he settles in!
I think Maxy would certainly approve, in fact I think he had a massive paw in making us meet, so he could give another FIV baby the chance of a loving forever home where he will be spoiled rotten
