Welcome Bob,

I never lived in Dorset but I love it - I grew up with my mum telling me stories of her summers growing up there in the 40s - Her aunt lived in Langton Matravers and was the couturier to a local titled family. I remember myself walking from Swanage, all the way to Poole (except I remember getting on a boat when we got there?) and having the best ever fish & chips in a place in the harbour.

Anyway - as has been said - pics please.

they sound lovely, but we can't be sure they are until you have given us the piccies we all demand on here - it's  :rules:

what part of Dorset are you living in? I used to live in Poole, and went to boarding school in Beaminster - before you were born, mind :(

Glad you've found us, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.  It really is a very friendly forum with lots of friendly helpful advice, if ever needed, and of course lots of fun.

I do feel it my public duty to warn you though that it can be a teensy bit addictive  You have been warned  :evillaugh:

Your cats sound gorgeous, we need pics - it's in the :rules: you know  :evillaugh:  Poor little Tom being dumped like that, glad they dumped him on your doorstep as it sounds like he has a wonderful home now  :)

hi, i am a 30 something with 3 beautiful cats.
pebbles a black ex-tom from the RSPCA. he is about 16 now and used to bring my dad a lot of happiness by visiting him in the nursing home. he sleeps with me every night and wakes me a 5.55am. i  :Luv2: pebbles.

Dave. a tabby and white 5 year old neutered tom that i got from a farm shop when i went in to buy horse feed  he is lovely and affectionate but hates to be picked up.

Thomas. a half bengal tabby neutered tom. Tom was left in a box on my doorstep with a note 'i am Tom, please look after me. i am a half bengal and i have bitten children and nobody wants me' there was £60 in the envelope too. tom loves to be picked up and cuddled but is not a kids cat, he wont play or chase things and hates eveyone apart form me.
