I wouldn't think that any small charity could afford it at those costs.  Not to mention I just did a quick search for animal charities in scotland that the 3 that came up included IFAW and RSPCA.... funny that considering that RSPCA don't cover Scotland.... yet they happy enough to take scots money!  (not that I'd give to either mind you)

Well, I've seen the marketing campaign for this and looked on the website. The membership fee for chairites with an income under £250k is about £600 for 2 years. (rememberacharity.org.uk).

It really pees me off that this will be another way that larger charities will be monopolising any legacies to be had.

We have recently done a letter to all local solicitors asking them to include us on their list of local charities and I thnk £600 is a lot of dosh for nothing in return. I've written a letter to them saying how sad I am at them bundling all charities into this lower income bracket.

Will any of you be joining?
