Reply from the finders:

Hi Sam,

Thanks for your mail... But don't worry we have it under control.

We run a cat rescue shelter in the fife area which has been established for
15 / 16 years. In all honesty we believe this particular cat belongs to the
people who handed it over but as they wouldn't admit ownership we have to
post a cat found notice. A large majority of cats reported in the fife area
to police or the SSPCA or in fact other local shelters and the general
public pass out our contact details so most of them come through us as a
first or second port of call.

Feel free to check out our website and new forum for more details of what we
do at www.cuparcats.co.uk

Thanks for being such a conscientious individual though.

Best Wishes

Sarah

P.s. feel free to retain our contact details for future reference, etc if
you wish. We are now listed in the register's pet directory too.

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

From the national pet register.  I have contacted the finder with advice.

We picked up a black and white female cat from Kennoway. Mainly black with white markings on face and legs. Petite little girl very affectionate. Please call 07717 214898 or email web@cuparcats.co.uk for enquiries.
