Thanks hon. Getting cats was the best decision we ever made & I'll always have you to thank for that!!  :Luv:

Thorn is just a wee darlin, she's my girl  :) I finally managed to get the pic of them up on the window sill, nearly every time you get the camera out they jump straight down.  ;D They must be a bit shy!!!  :shy:

No, Im not from Ireland but my OH's Mum was.  She came from Galway.  He still has a lot of cousins in Ireland, too.   :)  Its a beautiful place, both North and South  :briggin:

I've not spent any time in Galway really but have been through the county a few times on the way further south. Its a gorgeous place, you should take advantage of all the cousins to come visit!!

As you say both north & south are both beautiful. I'm very lucky to have the best of both worlds, was born in the north but now living just 12 miles south of the border.

Hi Ladystrange  :welcome: to Purrs,

What a gorgeous furry family .... particularly love Babbie ... I love cats with "character".

I'm sure you'll have a great time on here ... not only are we a very freidly bunch the site is full of really useful information and links on many feline subjects.

Looking forward to chatting more and hearing all about your furries.

Welcome to Purrs  :)

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome, your a lovely bunch but then most cat lovers are!  :) Sorry its taken a few days but here are a few pix as promised.

This is Dude, he adopted us from a shelter over 2 years ago & is around 4/5 years old. He lives up to his name, he is one cool kitty!!

Tilly's next, from the same shelter, she's so adorable & loves to be loved. She's nearly 2.

Last but certainly not least is our babbie, Thorn. She's just coming up on a year (we've had her since she was around 10 weeks) and was found abandoned near where we live (under a thorn bush hence the name). She's a proper cat - will only give you time when it suits her, then she's all over you. :)

We brought Dude home with a friend - Angel - but sadly we lost him nearly a year ago to problems with a urinary infection. Still miss him like mad. I'll put a pic of him up when I get the chance.

Again, thanks for the welcome.  :thanks:
