The act of injecting can cause reactions so not necessarily somebodies hygiene to blame

Yea thats what the vet said

It wasn't the chip it was the needle that caused it.

Luckily my dad said he will give me £50 for it :-) even tho am 23 lol

Good ole dad!  :)

Who did the microchipping? - they want to get their hygiene sorted!

Blimey a sterile needle shouldn't so that.  Hope she's on the mend.

A what test?

It was a reaction to the micro chip where the needle entered and came up like a 2p size flesh looking thing

She is really active and everything else is fine she just has this main spot and now lil bacteria above her nose.

Non of it bothers her she doesn't scratch it or anything...... Healthy appetite plays lovely coat etc

I do agree with JS -

It won't hurt to ring the rescue.....I also take it she has been FIV/FeLV tested

Robbo, I'd seriously consider contacting the rescue you got her from to assist with vets bills if it was a recent adoption. Poor Sophie - what kind of infection does she have?

Well she went back to the vets today with another 50 pound bill :-(

Collar needs to be another for another 2 weeks!!!
Her infection is getting better but needed more treatment as it's only slow

And the nose thing I posted about....she has a small bacterial infection there, he done a swap and looked under the micro scope

So now it's steroid injections, antibiotic cream, and anti biotics!

Urgh it's killing me with money and that poor collar bless her :-(
