If anybody has read the article there are some very sensible comments if you click on the "comment" button but I doubt the Council will read it.

it's absolute rubbish.  the department that deals with the disposal of animals is the same department as the dog warden (street scene).  the dog warden has a scanner so they are talking rubbish when they say that  :censored:

Sadly Biscuit was found in somebodies garden and collected by the council.  the person who rang them originally spoke to the wrong department.  the original owner is refusing to believe that the deceased cat was Biscuit although the person who reported the cat in his garden has seen a picture and is positive it was him.

very sad

RIP Biscuit  :(

he's still missing.  they've done a good job with the posters, i've seen them all over the estate.  he's old and straggly looking so it's possible that somebody has taken him in thinking he's a stray.  the good news is that he hasnt been picked up by the councils disposal unit.

Biscuit is approx 2 years old.  he is neutered but not chipped.  he divides his time between 2 neighbours and hasnt been seen for 2 nights.  he is missing from the Chertsey Crescent area of New Addington in Surrey.
