Daylight saving and time zones are the bain of my life.  We have offices in Boston, MA; Adalaide, Australia; Copenhagen, Denmark and Nottingham, UK; and I am constantly trying to arrange teleconferences between the sites ..... nightmare.  You think you've just it all sorted and one country goes and changes it's clocks and messes up all the plans again!

Oh....that's right, I forgot about that LOL!
Thanks for reminding me! That time change thing drives me up a tree.

Plus they changed the time change! Gaaaaaahhhh...if it ain't broke, why fix it?

I'm 5 hours behind the UK, I think -- right now it's 10:53 am.

You've already put your clocks forward for daylight saving, Pook, and we limeys haven't so for the next fortnight you're only four hours behind!

Glad you have been made to feel so welcome  :)

Thanks so much! I even chatted with a sweet lady in the chatroom, too! That was fun. I fell in pretty late (here) and sure enough, folks were around and posting.
What a friendly place. I'm 5 hours behind the UK, I think -- right now it's 10:53 am.

Hi Pook and a big  :welcome: from Me and my FurGang,

As Stuart says this is a great site and I think you'll fit in just fine ;)  We have a "international" members now .... New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, USA, France (and no doubt a few more that have slipped my mind).  So it's safe t say whatever time you are in the forum there is pretty much always someone else around

We also have lots of UK members who seem to come on at bizarre times in the morning/evening so you'll never be alone  :)

Just seen your pics ...    ... they are excellent.

Looking forward to chatting more.

Hiya and a warm   :welcome:  from me too

I have had a Wal-Mart experience when we were visiting friends in Homosassa Springs.  We spent a fortune, I bought the best pair of trainers ever, I lost thrm about nine months later, how I missed those trainers and I have never had a pair like them since.

Pleased to have you on board.

Oh I'm sorry! I'll edit that on my profile; I forgot most of you are in my second-favorite country. It's western North Carolina, on the eastern coast of the US, up in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
I'll put "USA" after "Western NC."
Sorry! Newbie mistake. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

Hi all! I'm Pook. I live in western NC, and I am the proud staffmember to 5 cats and a dog. I love animals, cooking, gardening, music (listening to and playing), and I'm a customer service manager at a local Wal-Mart.
I look forward to meeting all of you, and I'll post pics of my furbabies soon!
