Well her pen at the rescue will remain free, in case she has to return
She doesnt look her best now (since I chopped her coat LOL!) Its not what I would have chosen to do if I'd thought about taking her on at the time of her 'grooming' session. It was only thinking about it afterwards (fatal, this thinking!) seeing how distressed she got and that the only option the rescue had would have been to pay for any potential new owner to have her shaved at the vets a couple of times a year - that I decided. Here I will have the time to get her used to grooming slowly and build up her trust. Thats the theory anyway.
So, luckily BB has now graduated and is part of the group now (more or less anyway - still has her 'safe' room overnight) there is room for another 'student' Lacie, LOL!
I will go and collect her at 2pm tomorrow (I'll have a chance to see the rescue too - oh dear!)
