This is now on sale in Asda stores for 8.00 hardback along with another cat book confessions of a cat man..

I see on Google that Merly Streep is due to be cast as the lady who owned Dewey in a movie soon and that there is now a successor to Dewey..

You can see i had abit of an expensive day in Asda yesterday..

I'm only on p40 but am already in love with little Dewey Readmore Books (to give him his full title)  ;D

just finished this and I have 2 recommendations - have a box of tissues to hand and don't read it in a public place.

I've been considering getting this book for my holiday, but I'm going with OH and 4 friends and they will think I'm a nutter if I burst into tears every time I open my book!

Was reading an article about Dewey in this month's Your Cat mag yesterday.  I must get the book read as there are 5 reservations on it after me!  Still reading another book though.  Dewey is next up.

Sainsburys were selling it for £9.99 yesterday, and I had a couple of rewards in hand, so got it for under a fiver.

Sounds like I should have sprung for a box of tissues while I was there...

My mum sent me this article today from the You Magazine (yes, my parents are Mail readers...) anyhow, I've read it this evening and it's lovely, though it had me in floods.

I have found it online, so if you have tissues at the ready:

I look forward to the film!

The story of this puss is based on a true story.. and i have just been reading about him.. I wanted to get the book but its in Hardback at the moment and quite expensive so if anyone sees a reasonable deal then pls let me know.. its too new for the library i think..

Have a read about his story.. Its going to make you cry !
