Has she had kittens before? She looks so small compared to her babies!

No this is her first litter, she got out before they got her spayed (I got Twinkle done at 7 months??) I think they are getting her spayed after this liiter, she is very small, my cat Twinkle is bigger than her I was quite suprised when I saw her as ahe looks like a kitten herself

Ooooooooo I can not look anymore......I want them all.... so gorgeous.
Bet you can not wait to spoilt her.

In my experience it has taken roughly just a couple of weeks for the older cat to accept the new kitten. Sure you will be fine.

Here is a pic of my Narla who looks just like your beautiful Twinkle catcrazy.

Oh Narla is just soooo cute  :Luv:  and does look a lot like Twinkle, I really wanted all the kittens but.....
1. my husband would go mad
2. Her sister already has a new home and
3. I dont think Twinkle would appriciate more than one new playmate, she may fall out with me otherwise

Hi all,
have been to see Belle today and she is now 6 weeks old and so cute just thought I'd post the pics that I took today, the other 2 kittens in the photo are her sisters and there is a couple of mum feeding them, the black one has a bit of a problem with her head it tilts to one side when she walks, the vet advised to put her to sleep at 3 weeks old  :censored: I cannot believe anyone could be so cruel, the owners are going to keep her.

I will be getting her in 2 weeks time I really hope her and Twinkle get on okay  :Luv2:

Bless her, amazing how quick they grow up! It would be best to feed seperately as kittens need more regular meals than an adult which would make twinkle porky and adult cats eat alot faster so she would be missing out!!
Your vet could check her hearing when you go for her first vaccination at 9 weeks  ;D

Theres lots of info on previous posts about cat proofing/runs, some with fabulous pictures  ;D

Yeah its not very noticable but there is definatly a small black smudge on her head  :Luv2:
I have just been emailed another photo taken today she is 4 weeks old now but in the other photos she was only 3 weeks I can see a real differance, The owner says she is getting quite fluffy, she is into everything but is still feeding off mum, and will be until 5 weeks when she is going to be weaned

She is adorable  :Luv:

If she has a few coloured hairs on her head, she is less likely to be deaf according to this article

my Misha has impaired hearing one side (due to an untreated ear infection as a baby) and my vet spotted it at 11 weeks, profound deafness is easier to spot as you will be able to clap your hands behind your kitten and get no response whatsoever (as long as you clap from a distance, otherwise air movement will alert her to something happening)

Thanks for all the nice comments  :Luv2: :Luv2:
I just have a few questions, I don't really know much about white cats so am I right to think that she may be deaf?,
She isnt pure white as she has about 4 black hairs on her head!
I am hoping on keeping her in with Twinkle permanantly as Star my gourgous gray bengal cross got run over and I couldnt bear to go through that again, at the moment Twinkle does go out, I tried to keep her in but she kept sneaking out so I gave up!, but I know once we get Belle that she will have to stay in as Belle may try to follow her  :scared:
So hopefully Belle will not be in the Sun unless I decide to let them out

Another question..... I went to Pets at home yesterday and I was asking about kitten food, the girl who served me said to feed them both kitten food and that it would be okay for Twinkle to eat the same as the kitten....so I bought a multipack of whiskas kitten and Twinkle has started on it today (just to get used to it) I do feel sorry for Belle though as Twinkle loves her food and she may have a fight on her hands

Thanks for the advice, I never thought about catproofing the garden,  it may be something to consider as the catflap opens out into the back garden.....
I may have to feed them separatly as Twinkle is greedy and eats everything, also I never knew that kitten food was so high in calories, not such a good idea for a greedy cat
would the vet be able to tell if she was deaf from an early age?, not that it bothers me but it just means that she would definatly be an indoor cat

it may be worth feeding them at seperate times or at least in seperate rooms, as kitten food is very rich it can upset an adult cats tummy, and make Twinkle get very fat as it has a huge calorie count for growing kittens.

As a compromise since Twinkle obviously likes outside could you catproof your garde? or as I am doing build a avary type structure around the back door allowing outside access? because Indy has white ears and white nose and Misha has a white nose we are also planting climbing (no toxic) plants over the roof to provide shade and suncream will still be used

It depends on Belles eye colour whether or not she will be deaf, if she has blue eyes there is a high chance but the vet can check that for you

Best get her hearing checked out too. I cant stress how important it will be to keep her out of the sun, see this thread about my stray http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,19105.0.html he has cost me £500 so please do keep her sun safe  :shy:

OMG I'm in love .... she is adorable.

I have always found that intoductions between young kittens and cats very easily .... everything recognises a baby and usually after a bit of a sniff from the resident followed by submissive behaviour from the baby and it's all pretty uneventful.

I'm sure it will all be fine how could anything not fall in love with Tinkerbelle xxxxxx

Don't know about intros but I do know that she is gorgeous :drool;  Be careful with her ears and nose though, you'll need to put suncream/block on as white cats are very prone to skin cancer  :(

We are getting a new playmate for Twinkle after losing Star 7 months ago, I feel its time..... Twinkle is very affectionate but I think shes lonley, she tries to play with my dog Honey (a lab) but Honey just ignores her!!, She used to lay with Star a lot and groom her to death....... :Luv: she was a bit of a mother hen!!, just thought I'd post some photos of our new kitten who is coming to live with us at the end of January
Her name is Tinkerbelle or Belle for short
I was going to get an older cat but got advised to get a kitten as they will adjust better??
any advise about introducing a kitten to an older cat/kitten (18 months) would be appriciated  ;)
