They are all doing well (touch wood!). I've just posted some new pics of them on here although may be the same as recent ones at wheekers.

Hey Lesa! I'm so glad that I know someone from the other forum!

How are all the furballs doing these days?

Lucie is asleep as per usual...but she can still be a minx sometimes!

Thanks Tiggy's Mum - Helen.

Lol. I know how addictive forums can be. I am also on another forum for Guinea pigs as well and just can't seem to stay away from it lol.

Do you still have a rabbit then?

No I don't have a rabbit any more, but I am hoping to get a couple of guinea pigs in the near future, but at the moment I am struggling with finances (so what else is new), that I have decided to get them when I have saved up £500 and then I can get them.

Yes you are so right about us eating out of Lucie's paw lol. She certainly rules our household lol.

:evillaugh:  Aha - so Lucie chose you!  She's beautiful - she has a lovely face, and she doesn't show her age, does she?  I bet she has you all waiting on her, hand and foot, bless her!  :)

Do you still have a rabbit then?  There are quite a few Purrs members who have various assorted others pets including rabbits and house rabbits.  No doubt they'll be along soon, too.

Hi there Sue P (Paddysmum).

Lucie adopted us about 15 1/2 years ago. Her owners next door were letting the other cats steal her food, water etc. So she started coming to see us. I knew her very well beforehand as I was there when Lucie's Mum had her and her brother Sam. Lucie was starting to get on very well with us and we used to sneak food out to her in the evening. The last straw before we finally got her was when she was trying to drink water-droplets off my rabbit's water bottle. Mum just turned round and said 'That's it. We're keeping her.' So we coaxed her into our house and she stayed put!

The picture of her is one of the best ones we have got. I am going to try and get some more of her around Christmas time as well.

Hello Julz.  Welcome to Purrs to you and to Lucie.   :welcome:  Do you have any pictures of Lucie?  if not, tell us a little about her - how did she come into your lives, and what sort of character has she?  I've got one cat, Paddy - also 17 and one dog called Tess, who's a beardie collie cross.

Hope you have fun exploring the forum, and you'll find lots of good threads, information and laughs to be had.

Hello.

My name is Julia, although I prefer to be called Julz. I am 22 and live in a small village just outside of Bedford, UK.

I have one cat, Lucie, who is 17 years old. She is a tabby/tortoishell mix and is extremely loveable.

I have also cared for several kittens as well. My nan helps out at a rescue centre for cats and other small animals, so they often get kittens in.

Anyway that is enough for info about me...or I'll start waffling!  ;D
