The cure for fussy cats is more cats! Since Victoria and Fred joined the family, the food gets woofed down, whatever it is. The competition seems to make them eat what they can before the others eat it.

Reading threads like these makes me so greatful that my puddies arent in the slightest fussy,ok there are some flavours Rammy doesnt go mad for but Ging and Grwndi will eat whatever I put infront of them,Rammy will now too because he realises its either eat or starve

My cats will only eat the felix as good as or jelly/ gravy whiskers on occasion. They will not eat the jelly or gravy felix, they will not eat the normal one at all. They do love their gourmet and not much else, not even sheba is liked much. I wish I could find something more economical but nothing.

Well I gave Jess whiskers gravy this morning and he wouldn't eat it. He then wouldn't eat the felix

It seems to vary from box to box...........and these gluey ones are affected by the cold too, and just dont sirta loosen up like the others. Some of the fish ones are also affected, also some beef but its not consistent and aslo seems to depend where you have bought them.

A recent purchase I bought locally and much cheeaper from a farmers place were much better than thos from Tescoes.

Also they were in the boxes that open with a push in flap down the front rather than the tear open strip on the top. Why do I suspect that the dirent typ of boxes and contents are being maufactored abroad.

I know we used to have a russian member and she said that felix and whiskers were very bad there and cats got ill from eating them, they were all manufactored in the old eastern block countries I think.

I told the helpnumber for Felix that the jelly seemed to have changed, and it was not mostly all think and gluey and sort of cloudy and that my sick cat would not touch it. That was Franta.

She said that she needed samples and that i would need to send a couple of pouches with the same reference numbers as one that was not liked, the box rederence is no good.

So for me this is hard cos only 3 of each flavour in abox and often two boxes mixed up in the food drawer and if one is opened and eaten , then i may end up with only one more................not very organizeed me and also recently bought a giant box of 48 and there are mixed in too!

I get both Whiskas and Felix Senior for Maxy, as the different options mix in quite well with his renal food when he won't eat it on its own, expecially the gravy ones as they must make the food taste a bit nicer.

Samantha is allergic to any food with rabbit in....it comes straight up again.

In the past, any cats I've had have LOVED Felix, but it seems to have changed over the years. Now they won't touch it. Friends say the same about their moggies. Mine all love Whiskas, which is now rationed due to the cost of feeding so many cats. They have Asda Tiger food mostly. If I had fewer cats, I'd feed Whiskas purely on the premise that it's got Sam and Polly to a good age.

Jaffa is a felix boy. he gobbles up whiskas just as greedily, but if he has it too often it gives him soft poos. He doesn't have either very often, but when he does have a junk food treat, it's usually felix. I always remember someone at the cattery I used to use telling me that whiskas had a lot of liver in and upset a lot of cats' stomachs. Don't know if that's true or not, but I have never been too keen on whiskas. We (vet and myself) also thought it might be responsible for a skin condition that Magpie developed when he was quite young.

mine have Felix but they are all going off it and I think they have changed something in it.

When I spoke to their help line I mentioned thus and she gave me a reference if I called back about the same thing, cos thought the jelly was didfferent.

She told me that there is a range that the jelly must fall within but I winder how wide the range.

Kocka always had Whiskers and must admit I am thinking of trying it again.

Felix goes down well in this house - especially as they have more senior flavours. Quality-wise, I'm sure there is little difference. Clapton goes mad for the chicken in gravy tins of Whiskas and is allowed it once a week or so (I got some on the way home tonight)

Rolo brings Whiskas back up within seconds, same as Rabbit felix..
He will eat any other Felix, but he's a very picky eater. I have to mash it up tho or he would just lick the jelly.

Over the years i have always used Felix for wet food.

But my other 2 will/would eat almost anything, especially Pod

It's Felix all the way at Casa Koscha. Z has an allergy to one of the Whiska's ingrediants (though as to which one I haven't a clue

)

AGAIL gets the best reception, but they will eat the mixed selection pouches.

We feed both Whiskas and Felix - 9 cans a day to the Clan cats and the outside ferals and we have favourite flavours in both. But if the same flavour comes out of a scahet on a Saturday they eat everything

Sweetie and Tiger share an extra meal with Tigers diabetic shot in the morning and both love Applaws in any flavour and as long as it comes in a white bowl they will eat pretty much anything except Senior food - Sweetie is 17.5 and Tiger is 13 but will shred you for kitten food!

I fed Jameson Whiskas. I prefer Whiskas to Felix as it hasn't got added sugars or colourings in it. Jameson wanted his food to be mixed with a bit of warm water and I found that Whiskas was perfect for that (especially the gravy pouches). I fed him the Oh So range as it has got a higher meat content. Jameson adooooored Oh So.

Jess has started turning his nose up at Felix, I don't know why, he'll eat the meat one if he has to

I was thinking of trying some whiskers, any thoughts??

I've previously tried them on hi-life and they wouldn't touch it.

I need wet food that can have a couple of spoonfuls of water added to it without it being too obvious.
