Woo Hoo what wonderful news. I'm sure they will be happy in their new home.

I cannot deny that a cat lover and his cat have a master/slave relationship. The cat is the master.

If they are really struggling to get them into a rescue and none of the ones on the list can help it might be worth dropping Bonnielass a pm as I think she may know of someone who may be able to offer foster care.

thanks again sam,

Just spoke to one of them and passed a whole load of numbers over, i also suggested that she should offer some kind of donation oin return IF they are able to take them on.
he is furious with her though, leaving it so late, she just kind of assumed that this person who wanted the cats months ago was going ahead and has only just found out they can't for whatever reason.

The Local RSPCA said they may have a place in two weeks, so i will bare that in mind if it comes down to that.

Thanks Sam i'll pass it on

Confused here. If the ex-partner is emigrating, why does she need to get rid of the cats? Doesn't make sense they way you have laid it out. Also, you can take cats to Australia, you know. I am getting prices for my two right now...

well she's has left it late for that she leaves on wednesday - i couldn't leave mine behind but i can't really take them on, not now garfy and gypsy are now happy and settled. (hubby would go ballsitic)

Well i'll lay this out the best i can.
I have just been contacted by a friend of a friend of a friend.

Their ex partner is emigrating to Australia next Wednesday and the home that she had lined up for them has fallen through.

They are both about two years old one is ginger the other is a tortie, both are neutered, vac'd and Chipped unfortunately i didn't get details of the sex nor do i have any pictures.

She has apparently called round Cats protection and RSPCA and they are all full.
Does anyone know anyone who could help out until there are spaces available or if anyone they know is looking for two young cats?
