Yes i wonder if kids are taking them down.
As i say, i only went down some of Main Road but down the whole of Jail Lane and didnt see any (i was looking for them)

I spoke to Foal about her while i was there. They did have an email about her and tend to agree with me that someone has probably taken her in

She has been putting posters up, she recently put some new ones up with a reward on. The breeder has also been putting them up as have a few other people that she went out postering with so is odd that you didnt see any around. I will let her know incase someone has taken them down.

I had to go to FoalFarm today which meant i drove down part of Main Road and then Jail Lane and I was surprised that i didnt see any posters for this little one.
It might be a good idea if the owners got some posters up (unless someone has taken them all down)

I know Dawn, I hope the same.

We were at a show the other weekend and I had cuddles with lots of Bengal kittens and it made me think of Mystie and made me realise just how tiny a 16 week old kitten is.

It was Main Road Biggin Hill Gail.

I just hope and pray that she is safe and warm  :(

not being for that area - have no idea where it is - but the breeder I had my boys from is in Maidstone and on another forum there are a couple of people who live down in Kent.

I just hope this beautiful girl is safe. It makes me think if my boys were out all alone how scared would they be. I pray she is safe and warm somethere and that she is home real soon. xxxx

I'm not closely involved really just doing the same as you in asking people if they are in the area to keep a look out. I will pass on you good wishes though   :)

No, still no news  :( - she is on MYMoggy now so fingers, toes and everything else crossed that there is some news soon.

Reading your posts Flame I gather that you are closely involved with the search for Mystie - please give Kim my love and let her know that I am thinking of her x

I am in NO way passing blame it was simply a comment that it is unfortunate that the little one isnt chipped!  I am doing all I can from a distance to help in finding Mystie

Chip or not any decent person would have declared they have her, i hope the thief is a nice one. Fingers crossed they soon find out keeping a bengal isnt always straight forward  :evillaugh:

If the breeder normally chips before they leave then i am sure there would have been a good reason why Mystie wasnt chipped before she left the breeder. Her owner hadnt had her very long so barely had the chance to get her chipped before she went missing.
Even when a cat is chipped it doesnt guarentee that they will be found so please dont try and find a blame case. This is a very unfortunate and what is most important at the moment is that people keep there eyes and ears out for Mystie if they live in or visit the area not try and point the finger or blame.

I do think it would be good for breeders to do certain things like chipping and spaying/neutering but at the same time they should also be able to trust the new owners enough to do these things themselves.

mine wasn't - I don't want to sound too critical because the breeder is very nice and the cats very well cared for but I wouldn't go to them again

I hope so to Dawn, I mentioned the chip because this particular breeder normally chips before rehoming.

In fairness I didn't get Tilly chipped until she was spayed so maybe they were waiting for the same thing - I keep thinking about her poor little thing, I just hope someone is keeping her

Sadly not Dawn - there was a false alarm when Foal Farm has reports of a grey kitten in someones garden but it turned out that this little one was chipped and has happily been reunited with his family.  I cant understand why Mystie wasnt chipped - a very hard lesson.

Mysties breeder is going to the area every day looking and calling for her but it is as if she has just vanished.

She has put loads of posters around but I have to agree with you Michelle she is such a pretty little thing - I suppose it is better for her to be safe and warm with someone rather than outside in this weather but so heartbreaking for the family that has lost her.  Their other Bengal kitten is really pining and not eating properly since Mystie went missing

I would suggest they go out calling her at night when its nice and quiet.
It might also help to put "large reward" on the posters (who says what "large" mean  :evillaugh:) might help if someone doe have her !!

Michelle - if you hear anything at all it would be great if you could let me know - she is a very distinctive kitten so would be easy to identify.

I have sent her the advice sheet and she has put posters everywhere but so far only a couple of "sicko" crank calls.

She is lucky in a way because her 5 month old Bengal escaped at the same time but he came home after about 1/2 hour but there was no sign of the little one.

Ahhh poor baby ... I assume you have passed on all the advice to your friend Sheryl : http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,305.0.html

As she is young she will be frightened and will be hiding somewhere.  The quicker your friend gets her posters out the better.
