This was the full message - I hope its OK to repeat but you can tell she was much-loved  :Luv2:

"I'm sorry to have to tell you that Wendy died earlier today. She had suddenly got very old-looking in the past three weeks or so, very frail, so we knew she didn't have much longer.

She came out into the garden with me to sit in the sun, and have a cuddle and soak up the rays, and when I looked a bit later she was dead. We've buried her next to Mr Tibbs, and will plant more bulbs later in the year.

She seemed quite at ease, no rictus or signs of distress."

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

He was a lovely cat and I had the pleasure of meeting him at Sharn's cattery. It's just a shame that he spent so many months in a pen as the owner wouldn't sign over. He loved Sharn to bits and was very vocal. I posted some pics on one of the threads. I hope Wendy is OK as they were inseperable. RIP Tibby  :(

Somehow i just cannot find the thread about Mr Tibbs and his friend Wendy but his story is that his owner went into care in Jan this year and both cats where lodged at the cattery... Due to solicitors etc it took us 9 months to get them signed over and i found them a home in early Sept. They were both 12 to 15 years old and had lived togehter all their lives. After  rocky start and few teeth problem they were both doing well, but today i heard that Mr Tibbs had died peacefully this morning after eating a few biscuits he just died in his sleep... A sad beginning to a Saturday but at least he had known a few months of home life again before the end. His companion Wendy (who was the most fragile of the two) remains...I am glad that Mr Tibbs had a few months of sitting in the sun and being stroked to his heart content..

RIP Mr Tibbs i will be doing a small dedication to him in our newsletter and both these cats deserved abit more then that, but we are thankful that some kind person took them on to begin with despite their advancing years...i wish a few more people where like that.
