well i will confess that I made my friend (who doesn't have any cats) pretend to have 2 and get 2 samples of everything too!

I bought loads of food. As well as the applaws I also bought some almo nature, hi life, bozita and forza10 (which I'd never heard of before). Got lots of samples of dry food. There was one place that had a large bin full of little packets and you could help yourself. I did so every time I walked passed

I'm also slightly ashamed to say I picked up some samples of iams wet food too

I just couldn't resist a freebie and at least I didn't give them any money.

Also got a signed copy of Cat Confidential by Vicky Halls for £5

And the current issue of Your Cat for £1 (I learnt my lesson the first year I went to the supreme - bought the magazine as normal the week before only to find it selling at the show with a free goody bag).

That's great about the Abys, Sam - I love them and always spend a while looking at them. Just think - I could have been right there admiring them while you were a few feet away!

I got a bit of a surprise when I was talking to this somali breeder about how long they take to mature. I knew they are fairly slow to mature but exactly how long is something I've never got around to asking Mosi's breeder and isn't mentioned in breed profiles. He said Mosi won't be fully grown until he's at leat 3! That explains why they said he'd be a big cat and I'm thinking he's actually quite small! (although he's already bigger than some of the fully grown somalis there). Be afraid, Jaffa - be very afraid! He's going to be a monster!

How come you got so many freebies??? Did you ask for them? I only free samples from Bozito and Burns ... I'm obviously losing my touch as a profession freebie hunter! LOL. There were some really good deals on the food though ... I also bought some applaws and loads of small bags of dry food.

I did think about wearing a badge but I'm a bit shy

I met up with Foxy and Zephyrs breeder as she was showing two of her Abys ... they both got a first and both are now Imperial Grand Champions! The first Abys in the country to get such a title!

I was there too! Had a fab time and came back with a box of 48 cans applaws, 9 carrier bags and a rusksack full of free food

Good job I passed on the worlds best cat litter - don't think it would have fitted in the car! I didn't even spend that much either, just got lots of bargains and freebies. Loved all the cats and had a nice chat with the breeder of Mosi's dad (didn't know him beforehand - just recognised the breeders prefix so mentioned Mosi).

Totally knackered now though as I've been up since 3.40am and left the house at 4.40am. Got back about 9pm so a very long day. A very enjoyable one though.

Didnt know you were going Sam - you should have worn a badge with "I'm Sam (fussy furball) from catchat"!

I checked out the laperms, Lynn! There was a cute, fuzzy one in club row!

No I didn't see Witty and Pearl unfortunately .... they must have been in the ring when I was strolling past.

Of course the Bengals were lovely Linda! silly question LOL. There was one pen with two gorgous little spooty kittens in and a big sign on top saying Kittens for Sale ...... I daren't stop and chat in case I eneded up putting in an offer!

There were some stunning little Devon Rexes as well who were dead sweet. I did feel a bit sorry for the sphynx's though ... everyone of them was curled up in a tight little ball in their furry beds, poor little souls just looked like they needed to be curled up next to a radiator (or tucked inside my coat and catnapped! LOL).

Just want to say I went to the Supreme today and had a fab time ... so many gorgeous kitties I'm completely "oohed and aahhhed" out now LOL.

One of the best bits of the day was as I was wandering around in my own little world I heard someone say "Are you Sam?? ... it was Mimi and her OH. She recognised me from the picture on here.

I managed to resist the temptation to spend a fortune on toys and activity centres but I did get a good selection of food so my little piggies are all very happy

I also spotted a gorgeous 1 off oil painting which I was umming and ahhing about buying and when I eventually decided to go and get it it had been sold .... so no Xmas pressie for mum and dad now! LOL.

i have not even started this job yet, its a new salon and its going to be open in a couple of weeks and thats the only time they could do it, and it was the first supreme cat show i was going to go to, i am so gutted, but i dont think my husband is, because he will not have to take me

i remember my first ever works night out, it was just for a meal in a posh place and there was about 7 or 8 of us i think and my boss was such a grip he bought 2 bottles of wine for all of us for the whole evening !!!!!!!!!

I'm not that interested in shows, but I'm glad I went to one recently, as I was able to see close up some of the breeds, such as sphinx, that I'd only previously seen in photos - they look much better in real life!

I was meant to be going down with my hubby. However had to cancel as my friend will just be back from Mauritius getting married and is having her Wedding Party on Saturday Night.

I so wanted to go to the show. A bit gutted.

i wont be going but i know that quite a few laperms should be there so you could go and see them as they love to introduce their laperm babies to peeps who havent met one before.

I was hoping to go but am not confident enough to drive back in the dark grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

However I am looking for some kind person to get something for me and I will pay the postage cos they will be a bit bulky although not heavy, dont think!!
