It's the egg yolk they want! It took me ages to realise it too - until one day - Jameson woke up from his coma-like sleep when I boiled an egg, he marched straight into the kitchen and climbed up my leg - I literally had a 5 kilo cat attached to my bare leg with all claws digged into my skin. It wasn't a case of ''can I have some'' it was ''I am having your egg yolk''.

These days we give him most of our yolks anyway (often raw), as apparently it's full of cholesterol so neither me or OH wants to eat it.
Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

I just took a couple more but they aren't too great. She isn't too impressed with the flash.

She moved to her unheated bed as the heated one is a bit small - we are going to order her a medium one and give the small one to Willow  :Luv2:

She even has her own sofa!  :evillaugh:

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

I gave it to her before adding sauce. I can never make up my mind so always do 1/2 and 1/2  :evillaugh:

Jameson gets raw egg yolk as a treat, I keep meaning to give the boys some to see if they'd like it.  By the way Mark, ketchup or brown sauce?

And how come you didn't know that she wanted egg and not bacon?  Your cat mind-reading skills are slipping Mark

Alice and my lunch
« Reply #1 on: October 26, 2008, 13:22:16 PM »
I just had a bacon & egg sandwich. As I brought it into the room, Alice jumped out of her bed and sat beside me giving me that "I am wasting away with hunger" look. I took some bacon out of the sandwich and put it on some paper. She sniffed it and came and sat beside me again and stared me out  - I gave her a different piece but she wasn't interested. In desperation, I put a piece of  egg yolk on the paper and she lapped it up and came back for more
