Thank you to all concerned i have just had an offer of a home for Paddy with a local family they say they are happy to foot the cost of the nutering. Great result and i know they will neuter him as they are a very nice family. Thanks again great news for paddy. And us as we will still get to visit him.
I have read back over the post and as i did not update it after he came in can see the missunderstanding i just got very upset as we have given alot of time to rescues and would never miss treat an animal. Thanks again i'll see if the new family wish to join and post some pics. x

I don't think the intention was to upset you but possibly you are quite right  about there being a misunderstanding especially as you mentioned the garden shed. As you know I am posting a full cost voucher in a few mins and asking the vet to give the little one a MOT and to flea and worm.

Ok there is  a BIG  miss understanding here, he doesnt live in the garden, We are far from cruel. It was one evening when i cooked fish to lure him in as the staff of my mother inlaws had chased him out. I am withdrawing from here. I am shocked that this has been talked about like this. I am a rescue helper with dogs and have been for some while. NEVER would i do that especially during fireworks for pitty sake we are helping him out of the goodness of our hearts not being cruel. I posted on here as i was looking for a HOME not to be missunderstood and critisied. Enough. I will find his forever home elsewhere. MAYBE you should READ the posts not put 2 and 2 together and make 6! Ridiculous. Thank you for all the genuine offers of help.

That is so true Ela and when the firewqorks were going off at the weekend my thoughts were with the poor furbabies outside cold and frightened and I actually gave special thoughts to this little one.

Just to confirm I have not been contacted about this cat at all either to come in or to pay for the neutering. While we would not be able to take it in immediately  we would pay the full cost for neutering, mot flea and worm. Also I would advise that the little one be placed on the Derby CP HQ shelter list. It is a wonderful place and cost hundreds of thousands of pounds. Far better in my opinion to be in a shelter than remain in a garden.

My dog is used to cats and he is absolutely fine with him one of my mother in laws is a staff and she goes for my cat but my cat stands up to her and she backs off, Paddy is to scared and runs away from her which is the problem. Paddy is great with the others which are a retriever who just ignors him and my boxer who again they just ignor each other the other is a large cross and he seems a bit frightened of him but not like he is of the staff. I'd say he is great with dogs he was sat on the sofa aith my boxer and cat but he isnt the sort of cat to have a go at a dog it would just be a question of whether the dog would chase him he just runs away and hides poor thing ours is much better at standing his ground. But thats paddy's appeal he's very loving and gentle.

We havent refused we just dont have the money for the fuel, i am completely stretched looking after my mother in laws dogs and with other things we have to deal with at the mo. We can do part of the journey but not all i have been trying to see if we can get someone to do some of it but i understand its a big ask. I havent contacted the cp person for my area yet i have just heard back from the rspca today who have informed me there is a 6mnth waiting list. I am hoping that a friend of mines mother may take him she recently lost her cat so she will hopefully get back to me asap. If not i have been told of a rescue in chesterfield that may help so i will leave a message tonight and try again first thing.

I am waiting for three rescues to get back to me. I can't neuter him at the moment i am still waiting for confirmation of the voucher, we have paid for everything we can afford for him already, we were doing this as a favour, i have 3 extra dogs at the moment as my mother in law in unwell and our time and resources are pushed to the limits. I have asked the previous family if they would contribute but they don't wish to. My partner is working away and it is alot to deal with on top of two toddlers i didnt realise it would be so hard to find him a home  :( Poor lad I've replied to endless 'cat wanted' adds but people never get back to me so im guessing they already have one.

No fingers crossed tomorrow i'll do it as soon as it arrives. This is now extremely desperate he wont come in the house after one of the dogs chased him it is freezing i cant catch him at the mo he is hiding in the shed i dont want to chase him off so i am cooking some fish and will use it to hopefully get him out. Poor lad i cant believe no one wants him we would love to keep him but with 4 dogs and a cat of our own at the mo we just can't also our cat just swipes at the dogs he's too well manoured!! Please people ive had one offer of a rescue place but it 2 hrs away! and we just cant afford the fuel.

Paddy is both he is happy to be in but we have encouraged him to go out and hes happy enough never leaves the garden though hes no run away thats for sure.

We are near to Bakwell, Chesterfield, Matlock that kind of area. He has not been neutered but i do know of some vouchers and the neutering is free. We havent done it ourselves as we have way too much on our hands at the mo, but as he doesnt leave the garden (i think hed rather stay in lol) its not a big issue at present.

PLEASE PLEASE THIS BOY REALLY NEEDS A HOME I WILL HAVE TO START CONTACTING RESCUES TODAY I THINK  :'(

The owners of this cat could no longer care for him.  :( He is 11mnths very friendly good with little people we have two toddlers we have his brother he is great with other cats and fine with dogs. Hes under weight at the mo i think he may have been a little under fed  :'( but he is very sweet and very urgently needs a new home we wish we could keep him but with a dog and a cat of our own and currently having my partners mums dogs we just cant he deserves some tlc we will provide a litter tray a collar bowls and we have even got him a brand new carry basket we thought this may help in finding him a new home. Please please if you can find a place on your sofa he really is a poppet  :Luv2: :Luv2:

I will try and add some pics he is in Derbyshire, :Luv2:
