They will need to be kept in for about 6 weeks at the new home.

I dont know the answer about your son and the cats, maybe it would be better if your sons friend came to him rather than the other way round?

I am so pleased that you have found a home for them  ;D

Hello Mrs R and thanks for asking.  My sons best friends family have offered to give Oscar and Beboo a new home.  This makes me feel so much better as they are a loving family who I know will treat Oscar and Beboo as part of the family.  The friend stays here alot so knows what Oscar and Beboo likes.  The only thing I'm worried about is that I want my son to continue to spend as much time as possible with his friend before we relocate but I don't want to confuse  :-: Oscar and Beboo.  Is it best to keep my son away from their house as I don't want to upset Oscar and Beboo ?  Also as Oscar and Beboo are mainly house cats (they only go out to do their business) how long do they need to be kept in at their new enviroment ?  I really want the best for them and not sure on this one.  Have you any advice for me please.   Again thanks to everyone on this site, your help has been tremendous.  T

:)  Hi everyone - think I might have found a home for Oscar and Beboo - I will keep you all informed.  I think they can sense something is going on as Beboo is getting very protective of me and it's breaking my heart the thought of breaking up my family.  Some more expert advice please.  These people are my sons friends, when we move out and Oscar and Beboo go to live with them, is it better that my son stops visiting their house so Oscar and Beboo don't get confused ?  Thanks everyone. T

Any news?

:-[  Not sure what I'm meant to be doing now - sorry for all this mess up.

I've rebooted so hopefully I can stay on line now.  Sorry the picture was too big Theresa, I've emailed it to Gill for resizing.  Feel like I'm not doing anything to help now ! Please tell me what I should be doing to help all of you who are so kindly helping me ?

Thank you all.

Hun, I think Teresa at Paws Inn is waiting for details from you so that she can place the cats on her CC pages and the Paws Inn website to help you?

Hi Theresa

Oh I was building my hopes up when someone replied to where I was located - it didn't click that it was your place.  I am trying to download my photo of Oscar and Beboo and will send you the information as soon as possible.

Many thanks (and sorry you got my tears)

Are you anywhere near Weaverham?

Just pointing out that I have already offered assistance to this lady by offering to add them to my website and CC pages when the information is sent to me.

My son has the best photo of the 2 of them together - just waiting for him to return from his nanas.  Will have a read up now of how to load the photos on.  Do I need to do something with the title.  All new to this as I haven't had to search for a new home before.

Photos help!
Perhaps a mod would be so kind as to edit the title of this thread seeing that its urgent. but the title doesnt really give potential adopters enough information to decide to check it out..(just a thought!!!()
Title heading make s a difference.

We're moving to Dubai and our accommodation is a staff tower block - no pets allowed.  I've tried my local rescue who aren't interested, they say I can put them on a waiting list of over 340 cats.  I don't have long to re-home them as we have just found out we are going and to get my cats into a happy loving home is a priority.

Urgent Home Needed (from Cheshire area)(SORTED)
« Reply #1 on: September 06, 2008, 17:32:46 PM »
Please help - we are relocating in 5 weeks and need to re-home our our 2 beautiful young cats.  We found them last September behind a shop in a basket so they are approx. 18 months old.  Oscar (the brother) is black and Beboo (the sister) is black and white.  We would like them to be re-homed together.  They have been neutered and all vaccinations are up to date.  We have 3 young children and Oscar gets carrried around like a baby and he loves it, he adores the children and loves to snuggle up to them.  Beboo likes to watch, loves to sleep and likes to know where you are.  They haven't been near any other animals so wouldn't like to advise.  Can anyone help and give our cats a loving home.  We are in the Cheshire area.  I can send pictures by email or text.  Many thanks.
