We've had a spate of this in the North East recently too, in the Newcastle area. There's a petition on here to try and get the changes that Mark has mentioned put in place. It's in the petitions section.

The really annoying thing is there is an alternative that is relatively safe and only costs a little bit more - it is available in America but not here. Surely the government should legislate? - otherwise,  surely they could add something like bitrex to it for pennies?  :( - It's not just intentional poisoning, it could leak onto driveways etc.

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

This is just on the news now. It's sickening and shocking at the same time. Poor Kitties.

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

Well we know thats rubbish, better alternative than being poisoned i think.

Very strange that many have been affected and at this time of year  :shify:
