....or perhaps actively getting involved in the campaign to close this animal torture lab would be more beneficial than signing a petition. There are many ways to help out that don't involve direct action.

it won't close while it is a legal requirement to test on animals, maybe a petition looking for a review into the procedure for clinical trials would be better???

Signed.... Sick and tired of hearing about this hellhole (I spent a loooong time in East Anglia so they frequented the news occasionally). What really rankles is that the staff there (even the low ranking staff) recieve luxuries and perks that they DO NOT DESERVE.....I've come across the ads in job vacancy supplements in the paper, while the peeps I know who care for animals all suffer from severe lack of funding  >:(

HIT EM IN THE WALLET thats the only way to stop this...

Have you tried duplicating this petition on the Number 10 website for the Prime Ministers attention? Gotta be worth a try??  :)

I would do ANYTHING to help close that evil place!!!

The amount of letters I used to write to my MP (Huntingdon) where I used to live is legendary but I never once received a reply!  It would seem that my new MP is very different.

HLS was very close to my last home and it is a ghastly institution but I fear that it will never be closed down.  It has such protection because of all the animal rights attacks etc (with good reason because there have been some dreadful incidents there). 

I will happily sign this petition and will forward it to everyone else I know too.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.
