Personally I would use a very fine clumping litter.  Zooplus do a wonderful litter called  Tigerino Nuggies Cat Litter  ... it's is very fine so gentle on little paws.  it is excellent at clumping so easy to remove "lumps" and is wonderful at keeping smells down (as you can probably guess I use this litter  ;) ).

It is a bit more expensive than some of the brands you can buy inthe pet shop but I have to say it lasts for ages and the benefits definitely outweigh the cost.

If you follow the link at the bottom of the page you will get 10% of your first order with zooplus, also by following the link Purrs will get a commission to help other rescue kitties.  You can also buy all your kitten food / toys / treats etc and if you spend over £29 shipping is free.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Thank you

i have only seen them the once so far,  very briefly (i was actually viewing the house to buy at the time and the 4 week old kitten's were in the spare room under the bed,  i didn't put an offer in as the house wasn't quite right)

i am hopefully visiting them tomorrow and picking them up next week, i will find out about litter and food

My rescue has advised woodchip too. I dont know if that's the BEST choice but it's certainly one of the cheapest. Maybe see what they have been using up until now and go with that to start?

Hello :)

The Cat rescue centre told me that woodchip is a good choice! Do you know what they are used to? Hope that helps!
